Another week has gone by and the newest LEGO Ideas update for the Second 2026 Review Stage adds three more projects to the list. We’re now up to 28 projects that have reached the 10,000 supporter goal which is off the pace of getting 100 projects to hit the goal by the end of the qualifying period.
At Brickworld Chicago, BrickLink has revealed the five finalists for BrickLink Designer Program Series 11. BrickLink will now refine the final designs with the designers and that will run until May 3, 2027. Pricing and piece count details won’t happen until May of next year and crowdfunding for this series will start in June 2027.
Fans that were able to go to the LEGO Inside Tour this year can now talk about the exclusive set for 2026, the Vintage LEGO Logo (4000049). The 1,614 pieces set features a brick-built logo from 1946 that is drum lacquered gold on a display stand.
There’s also a drawer that opens up to reveal printed LEGO logo tiles from 1936, 1953, 1965, and 1973 as well as corresponding microbuilds of various sets from those years such as the wooden LEGO car, the LEGO man, a LEGO train, and the tugboat from set 310-3.
As with many of these extremely exclusive sets, they go for very high prices on the secondary market and this particular one is currently going for about $10k as of this writing. For most, this is mainly to recoup the cost of the trip to Billund and pocketing the rest. The price will drop a little as more hit the market but I doubt it’ll go down that much.

There’s a decent range of sets from various themes that have the bigger discounts while larger sets have 15% off. Some of the sets like the Batmobile ones are more recent while there are some that are on the Retiring Soon list.
