LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Ideas set with E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (21370). Releasing on August 1 (pre-order today), the set has 1,226 pieces and will retail for $139.99. The set features the iconic character that can angle his head up and down. There is also a glow brick to make his heart glow red.

Each of the 22 drivers will have their own LEGO go-kart that is fully driveable and made up of 28,000 pieces. Each minicar has the team livery with team emblems, colourways, and driver numbers and can go up to 25km/h.

LEGO has revealed a new LEGO Creator 3-in-1 set coming this August with the Red Panda (31394). The 297 piece set features the red panda as the main build and since it is a 3-in-1 set, it can also be changed into a clown fish or an owl. The set will be available starting on August 1 for $29.99.
A new LEGO Technic set has been revealed that will be coming this August with the Ducati Desmo450 MX Factory (42238). The set features the Ducati dirt bike that includes wheel suspension and a cylinder engine that connects to the chain on the rear axle.

LEGO has officially revealed a new gift with purchase set coming soon with the LEGO Ideas Sea Serpent (40912). This was the winning build for the A Twist of Nostalgia building contest. It is an updated version of the Sea Serpent (6057) from 1992. It will be available starting on July 7 but there’s no details yet on the price requirement to get it.
Update: LEGO has confirmed that it will require $180 a general purchase on the LEGO Shop and in stores.
