LEGO Seasonal Santa’s Workshop (40565) GWP First Look

In the instructions for the LEGO Seasonal Winter Elves Scene (40564) promotional set, we have a first look at the upcoming Santa’s Workshop (40565). Although it’s a little hard to see the inside of the workshop, we can see that both sets can be pushed together to create a larger scene.

There are no details yet on how to get Santa’s Workshop (40565) but it’ll most likely be a promo set in December since it looks like all of the promotions have been revealed for this year’s Black Friday shopping event.

LEGO Subscription Program Name Survey in Rewards Center

Last year, LEGO did a survey in the Rewards Center to gauge interest on new subscription programs that includes a number of perks. Today a new survey has gone up that is looking for feedback on names that this subscription service could be called. The names seem to be different for other countries or even VIP members as I have seen ones with totally different names. The names that my survey had are:

LEGO Breaks Ground on New Kornmarken Campus

LEGO has recently announced that they have broken ground on the Kornmarken Campus which is the newest addition to their headquarters in Billund. The campus will house around 1,900 employees and focuses on an inspiring and playful working environment.

Billund, November 11, 2022: Today the LEGO Group celebrated breaking ground on yet another state-of-the-art campus in Billund, Denmark, where 1,900 engineering, quality and production employees from across seven locations will come together under one roof.

There to mark the special occasion was Mayor of Billund Municipality, Stephanie Storbank, Chief Executive Officer of the LEGO Group, Niels B. Christiansen, and Chief Operations Officer, Carsten Rasmussen.

Carsten Rasmussen says: “Today, we are one step closer to opening another state-of-the-art campus in Billund with focus on sustainability, technology and an inspiring and playful workplace for our employees. We are investing significantly in our headquarters these years, and I’m excited that we are also able to contribute to the development of Billund.”

LEGO Chinese Traditional Festival 2023 Sets Revealed

The 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) happened overnight and LEGO has revealed some sets inspired by Chinese culture including the upcoming Lunar New Year 2023 sets. All the sets will be available on Christmas, December 25 in China and other markets. Most likely, North America will get them early 2023.

The LEGO Group has revealed five new LEGO® sets with inspiration from Chinese culture and traditions at the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) today. This represents the fifth consecutive year that the company debuted novelties with rich Chinese elements at the expo.

The new sets include:
LEGO® Lunar New Year Display (80110) has two exquisite models capturing many iconic traditional festive symbols. One model has buildable golden ingots in the traditional Yuan Bao design, koi fish for good luck, red pockets symbolizing good wishes, and the “Zhao Cai Jin Bao” greeting that welcomes fortune and treasures into the home. The other model has buildable peony flowers with the “Hua Kai Fu Gui” greeting, meaning blooming prosperity and happiness.

LEGO #BuildToGive Campaign Returns for 2022

LEGO has announced that the annual #BuildToGive campaign is returning for their sixth consecutive year to donate LEGO sets to children in hospitals, children’s homes, or vulnerable communities globally. Like with previous years, all you have to do is to create something to post online while using the hashtag #BuildToGive before the end of the year and LEGO will donate up to two million sets worldwide.
