LEGO Seasonal Reindeer Head Christmas Ornament (5005253) Review

LEGO Seasonal Reindeer Head Christmas Ornament (5005253)

Starting tomorrow, LEGO will have a new promotional item with the LEGO Seasonal Reindeer Head Christmas Ornament (5005253). You can get it with purchases of $50 or more at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home, while supplies last. After taking a year off, LEGO introduces the 28 piece Reindeer Head which joins the 2014 Christmas Train (5002813), 2015 Christmas Train (5003083), and the 2016 Toy Soldier (5004420).

Like with the previous ornaments, the parts are inside a little green pouch along with the instructions and the string.

LEGO Seasonal Reindeer Head Christmas Ornament (5005253)

The build is very straight-forward and the finished result looks a lot like a reindeer head mount which is kind of morbid. I do recommend changing the black 1×1 round plate for the nose to a red one to represent Rudolph as it makes the build a bit more festive.

Did LEGO Tease Another McLaren Set?

LEGO Speed Champions McLaren

A few days ago, LEGO teased an image of the upcoming 2019 LEGO Speed Champions McLaren Senna but camouflaged. They could either be teasing that particular set or could there be more to this image?

As we know by know, LEGO has partnered up with various car manufacturers to produce sets for the Speed Champions as well as Technic. This includes the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (42056) from 2016 and the Bugatti Chiron (42083) from earlier this year but what will the 2019 supercar be?

I’ve heard an unsubstantiated rumor that next year’s LEGO Technic supercar could be a McLaren but at this point, that’s all that is right now. If you remember back in January, LEGO revealed that the Bugatti Chiron would be released later in the year and will LEGO do the same thing next month? All keep in mind that the Nuremberg Toy Fair will be held at the end of January as well and that’s where we got the first information about the Bugatti. Stay tuned for more details as they happen.

LEGO Ninjago: Visual Dictionary (New Edition) Coming in 2019

LEGO Ninjago Visual Dictionary (New Edition)
Back in 2014, Dorling Kindersley released the LEGO Ninjago Visual Dictionary and five years later, they will be releasing a new edition of it. Found on Amazon, the updated dictionary will have 128 pages and will be releasing in September 2019.

The original copy of the book included the Rebooted storyline Zane minifigure and the updated version will also include an exclusive minifigure. Do you have any guesses on who it will be? Perhaps someone we haven’t seen before in minifigure form? I’ll update when Amazon US has it up for preorder.
