The LEGO FRIENDS The Apartments (10292) was announced this morning to a very positive response and included in the set are minifigures of the six main characters and a recurring character. They have worn a large number of outfits during the decade it was on the air and LEGO had the tough choice to find one outfit for each character as their minifigure print. All of them had iconic looks throughout the years and here are the outfits the minifigures are based on.

Amazon has been doing coupon codes for various LEGO sets and there’s one currently going on for the LEGO Star Wars Kylo Ren’s Shuttle (75256). As of this post, the set has been discounted 15% to $110.55 but you can save an additional $6.56 when you apply the coupon which essentially makes the set 20% off and that also makes it the lowest price the set has been at. The last time it was at this price for an extended period of time was during Black Friday last year. There’s been rumors going on that this set could be retiring by the end of 2021 so now is a great time to pick it up if you can.

LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Fighter (75301) Amazon Sale – May 2021

Amazon currently has the LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Fighter (75301) on sale for $47.17 with an additional $7.18 saving when you apply a coupon. This pretty much makes the set at 20% off after the $10 savings. This is the lowest price the set has been at since its release at the beginning of the year. Not that the General Jan Dodonna minifigure is exclusive to this set.

LEGO x adidas ZX 8000 Color Pack Available Now

For those who are interested, the LEGO x adidas ZX 8000 Color Pack shoes are now available for purchase over on the adidas site. There are six colors to choose from and it looks like all sizes are available in men’s sizes ranging from 4-13. They do cost $140 plus tax and shipping. These are the second iteration of the LEGO ZX 8000 shoes with a more colorful one that released last year.

LEGO Disney BrickHeadz Summer 2021 Sets Revealed

There are some new LEGO BrickHeadz sets that have popped up on the LEGO building instructions page with and Daisy Duck (40476) and Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey & Louie (40477). The build features your favorite Disney ducks to go along with Donald Duck (40377) that released last year.

LEGO Star Wars May the 4th 2021 Event Live on LEGO Shop

LEGO has kicked off the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th deals over on the LEGO Shop. The main set for 2021 is the updated R2-D2 (75308) which retails for $199.99. In addition, LEGO has recently released some new sets in the helmets line with the Darth Vader Helmet (75304), Scout Trooper Helmet (75305), and the Imperial Probe Droid (75306).

Of course, you’ll get Double VIP Points on all LEGO Star Wars products and the promotional set for this year is the Tatooine Homestead (40451) with purchases of $85 or more in Star Wars products. In-stores, you can get the Imperial Shuttle polybag with Star Wars purchases of $40. Lastly, there’s a sweepstakes in the Rewards Center for the Dutch Vander minifigure and print that runs until May 21.

Arthur Parsons Leaves TT Games

There’s some sad news out of the LEGO games space as Arthur Parsons has left TT Games after 22 years. During his time there, he was their Head of Design and eventually Game Director on many LEGO games. He was pretty the face of LEGO games as he did many interviews on stream during the years talking about various games. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Arthur a few times during San Diego Comic Con and even did a roundtable interview for LEGO Dimensions way back in 2016.

Arthur worked on many LEGO projects at TT Games and some of them are currently available in the Humble Bundle LEGO Built to Bundle charity campaign which will end in seven days.

Good luck to Arthur on his future endeavors.

After an incredible 22 years working at Tt Games today was my last day. I have a lifetime of memories working with THE BEST people on 30 or so brilliant games.
