More Images of Asia Exclusive LEGO Dragon Dance (80102)

A few days ago, we saw the official images of the Asia exclusive LEGO Chinese New Year’s Eve Dinner (80101) and we also got a glimpse at the Dragon Dance (80102). There are now more images of the Dragon Dance and the back of the box does confirm that it does contain a kinetic play feature. On the left side of the box, you are able to turn the dial and it will move various sections of the dragon up and down. Also note that this set will also include a teal brick separator, a first of its kind.

From what I’ve been hearing, these sets will only be available to the Asian markets so it’ll be pretty difficult to obtain if you’re outside those countries. I feel they will sell well worldwide but in the meantime, LEGO will only be focusing the sets in that particular region.

The LEGO Movie 2 Video Game Announced

Not really a huge surprise but Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced they will be releasing The LEGO Movie 2 Video Game next year. It will be available for the PS4 and XBox One on February 26 and on the Switch on March 26. Like with the previous movie games, you’ll basically play through the movie in various levels while using over 100 playable characters.

If you looks at the sets, fans of the theme may notice that they look like sets that have been released before. The sets are now named LEGO Ninjago Legacy which are based on older sets that have been updated a little bit and they also show what season the set first appeared in. Images of the 2019 LEGO Star Wars sets popped up online yesterday from a YouTube channel and they were originally deemed a leak by LEGO but today in the wee morning, LEGO has decided to allow us to report on them. Returning next year are more Battle Packs as well Microfighters along with some medium to larger sets. Also integrated in the LEGO Star Wars line are the LEGO Juniors which are now labeled 4+.
