LEGO Speed Champions Lightning McQueen (77255) Revealed

LEGO has revealed a new LEGO Speed Champions 2026 set with Lightning McQueen (77255). Releasing on January 1 (pre-order today), the set has 270 pieces and will retail for $27.99. This new set features Lightning McQueen in the Speed Champions style and is more different than any other thing they have done in the theme.

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the beloved Disney Pixar movie Cars with this LEGO® Speed Champions ǀ Lightning McQueen (77255) building toy. LEGO Ideas Build Your Favorite Hobby GWP Winner Announced

Back in July, LEGO Ideas started a building contest to build your favorite hobby and the winning build will become a gift with purchase set. There were 15 finalists and there was a fan vote held last month to choose the winner. Today LEGO has announced that winner which is Build, Paint and Play! by Doomslizer.

The build features a miniature model kit that you remove from the sprue and put together. If you’ve Gunpla, you know exactly what this is. LEGO will now go ahead and produce the set which should probably be out some time next year.

LEGO Achieves Double Digit Growth in H1 2025

The LEGO Group has announced their earnings from the first half of 2025 and the company has seen double digit growth compared to last year. Revenue grew 12% to a record DKK 34.6 billion up from DKK 31.0 billion last year while consumer sales increased 13%. There were 314 sets launched already and the top themes include LEGO City, LEGO Technic, LEGO Botanicals, LEGO Icons and, LEGO Star Wars.

Highlights vs. H1 2024

• Revenue grew 12% to a record DKK 34.6 billion.
• Consumer sales increased 13%, driven by a broad and innovative portfolio.
• Market share grew as the LEGO Group continued to outperform the toy market.
• Operating profit increased 10% to DKK 9.0 billion, reflecting strong top-line performance and improved productivity while investments in strategic initiatives increased as planned. Net profit grew 10% to DKK 6.5 billion.
• Cash flow from operating activities was DKK 5.9 billion compared to DKK 7.5 billion last year. Free cash flow was DKK 1.7 billion which was impacted by a continued high level of investment.
• As part of its long-term investment in key locations, the company opened a state-of-the-art factory in Vietnam and a new Americas head office in Boston, U.S.
• Significant progress on sustainability efforts and continued investment to reduce the company’s environmental impact.

LEGO Ideas August 17 Update – Iconic Moments Immortalized

Another day and another two projects have reached the LEGO Ideas Second 2025 Review Stage. We’re now up to 132 projects that have hit the 10,000 supporter goal and probably will see a few more coming later today. LEGO BrickLink Account Integration Coming September 18

A few months, LEGO announced that LEGO account integration will be coming to BrickLink later this year and we now have a set date for it. It will be happening one month from now on September 18. If you have a LEGO account, you will be able to merge it with your BrickLink account. If you do not merge your BrickLink account by December 31, it will be deactivated and your data will be anonymized and you won’t be able to use your old account as you’ll be directed to make a new one.

LEGO® Account integration is coming September 18th, which will create a single sign-in experience for both LEGO.com and BrickLink.com. After integration, the LEGO® Group Privacy Policy will apply. The current LEGO Group Privacy Policy will be updated to include BrickLink data processing prior to the account integration.

Do I need to do anything?

If you already have a LEGO Account, you’ll be able to merge it with your BrickLink® account starting September 18th, at which time you can also accept our new Terms of Service and the LEGO Group Privacy Policy.

If you don’t have a LEGO Account yet, you’ll need to create one and then merge it with your BrickLink account to keep using all your favorite BrickLink features. You can create a LEGO Account here.

If you choose not to integrate, your BrickLink account will be deactivated on December 31st, 2025. Once deactivated, all your account data will be anonymized. You won’t be able to reactivate your old account; you’ll
