Today, The Brick Fan turns 1 year old. As I stated in a previous blog post, I began blogging under a different URL but I had to change it to on this day in 2012. At first, I was just using this blog to review LEGO sets that I purchase but I shifted to adding LEGO news a few months in and has evolved into what you now see today.

Now for some interesting facts I’ve gathered on the site. In a year, there have been 449 blog posts and have gotten 143 article comments. As you can see on the stats below, the site didn’t get that much traffic until July when San Diego Comic-Con started and doubled again when news of the 2013 LEGO sets became public. The site got 418,660 unique visitors with 647,740 page loads. My goal for this year is to double the traffic that the site currently gets now.
