Adventure Time Opening Sequence Made With LEGO Bricks

To commemorate Geek Week on YouTube, the Cartoon Network has released the opening sequence of Adventure Time made out of LEGO bricks. There are no credits for the animators of the video but I’ve reached out to Cartoon Network to see if they could tell us who they were. Now if we can just get them to do a full episode with animated LEGO bricks. I posted the video on our Facebook Page early this morning but I think this deserves it’s own post here.

If you’re not familiar of what Adventure Time is, the show takes you through the adventures of a human named Finn and his adoptive brother and best friend named Jake who is a dog and has magic powers to change in size. Through their adventures, they meet other characters in the show including Princess Bubblegum, the Ice King, and Marceline the Vampire Queen. Also, two more words: Bacon Pancakes. You’re welcome.

LEGO Legends of Chima Returns to Cartoon Network Tonight

The long-awaited return of the LEGO Legends of Chima animated series makes it’s return to Cartoon Network tonight at 8/7c. It’s been a while since we’ve mentioned the TV show because there wasn’t anything to report on it until recently. A trailer of the return of Chima aired during the LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles back in May and Cartoon Network will be “premiering” it again starting today and will now have weekly episodes. According to TV Guide’s schedule for tonight, my suspicions were confirmed that CN will be re-airing the first three episodes back-to-back-to-back and will have brand new episodes starting next week. So if you haven’t seen any of the Chima episodes yet or want to rewatch them, tonight’s the perfect opportunity.

LEGO Legends of Chima TV Show Coming Back in July

If you watched the new LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles animated series tonight, you would’ve seen a commercial for the Legends of Chima tv show and it’s return in July. Cartoon Network is promoting it to be a new series when it “premieres” again. If you remember back in January, Cartoon Network showed the first couple of episodes and came back with another episode in March. After those episodes aired, there was absolutely no news about the show after that, until today. My guess is that the show will start again in July with the very first episode and will continue to have weekly episodes thereafter. The timing of the return of the Legends of Chima is about perfect since that will be around the time that the Summer wave sets will be releasing. Are you excited to see the Legends of Chima show back on your tv screen?

LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles Promotional Set

Game Informer has recently received a promotional LEGO Star Wars set to promote The Yoda Chronicles animated series that will be premiering on Cartoon Network on Wednesday, May 29th. There is also a “huge” LEGO Star Wars event on Thursday, May 23rd at 11am in New York’s Times Square. LEGO will be unveiling the “world’s largest LEGO model.” We’re curious to see what this model could be, maybe a giant Yoda?

The promotional set contains 408 pieces that are in three numbered bags. There are two minifigures included in the set: Yoda and a female Padawan. There is also a droid. The set itself appears to be the archives of the Jedi Temple. Check out YourCreativeFriends review of the set below.
