LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile – Limited Edition (40433) Official Images

Yesterday we got our first look at the upcoming LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile (76139) that was released early in Denmark and we now have official images of what appears to be the gift-with-purchase set that goes along with it. Promobricks has posted the images of the LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile – Limited Edition (40433) which is a smaller version of the Keaton Batmobile. Details of how to get it are still unknown at this time but I assume you’ll just get it with the purchase of the Batmobile. I’ll report on the details as soon as they are available.

LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile (76139) Found at Billund Airport LEGO Store

Well it looks like the secret’s no longer safe as the LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile (76139) has been found available for purchase early at the Billund airport LEGO Store. The set has 3,306 pieces and it retails for 1990.00 DKK/ €279.58. As for posting this leak, although LEGO wasn’t happy about it, we have gotten the okay to since it has been found at a verified location although we may be asked later to take it down due to the pending official announcement soon. LEGO Batman Mr. Freeze Batcycle Battle (76118)

Back in March, LEGO announced that the LEGO Batman 80th Anniversary sets will be coming out this summer. It looks like one of the sets is now available for purchase at Walmart with the Mr. Freeze Batcycle Battle (76118). The set has 200 pieces and is priced at $19.97. The rest of the wave will be available on August 1.

-This super-hero toy playset includes 3 LEGO minifigures: Batman, Robin and Mr. Freeze.
-Batcycle features a dual minifigure cockpit for Batman and Robin, a stud shooter, Batman’s Batarang and grappling hook shooter, Robin’s sword, 2 non-shooting guns, 2 batwings and a split function to divide the vehicle into 2 separate bikes.
-The Batarang, grappling hook shooter, sword and 2 guns can be detached from the Batcycle and held by minifigures for battle action.
-Also includes a snow scooter with space for the Mr. Freeze minifigure.
-Accessory elements include Mr. Freeze’s helmet and backpack with an attached, non-shooting freeze gun, plus 10 assorted Action Pack elements to customize builds, minifigures and weapons.

LEGO has revealed its second San Diego Comic Con 2019 exclusive with the LEGO Batman The Dark Knight of Gotham City (77903). The set has 427 pieces and will retail for $45 at the con. Attendees will be able to enter a lottery for a chance to purchase it and the end of June when the lottery is open.

The 80th Anniversary of Batman will tomorrow but LEGO dropped a surprise this morning with the reveal of the LEGO Batman 80th Anniversary sets that will be coming out in August. The sets will feature a number of heroes, villains, and vehicles from the history of Batman including Shazam, Clayface, the Batwing, and a close representation of the Keaton Batmobile. Zach Galifianakis to Voice Joker in LEGO Batman Spinoff Movie

The Hollywood Reporter has reveal that Zach Galifianakis is in the final stages of negotiation to voice the Joker in the LEGO Batman spinoff movie in 2017. He now joins Will Arnett who will be reprising his role as the Caped Crusader along with Michael Cera who will be voicing Robin.

Galifianakis has done voice acting before on the big screen with Humpty Dumpty in Puss in Boots as well as on various TV shows like American Dad!, Bob’s Burgers, and The Simpsons. He’ll no doubt bring his own spin on the Clown Prince of Crime and I look forward to seeing it in a few years.

Michael Cera to Voice Robin in LEGO Batman Spinoff Movie

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Michael Cera will be voicing Robin in the LEGO Batman spinoff movie. He joins his Arrested Development cast mate Will Arnett who will be voicing Batman.

Chris McKay will be directing while Phil Lord and Chris Miller joins Roy Lee and Dan Lin as producers. Not much else is known about the LEGO Batman Movie but we do know that it will open on February 10, 2017.
