LEGO Hero Factory Invasion From Below App Announced

Today Azumo, creator of the LEGO Hero Factory Brain Attack app, has announced a new game that will be available on iOS, Android, and Windows 8 in January 2014. Below is their official press release and images of the new game.

Calling all heroes; we’re going to need some BIG battle machines!

Bournemouth, UK (17th December 2013) – Today, Amuzo are proud to announce that their latest title, LEGO® Hero Factory Invasion From Below, will launch on iOS, Android and Windows 8, as well as web platforms, in Europe early January 2014.

Work on a construction site within the heart of Antropolis City has come to an abrupt halt as a deadly new threat has accidentally been uncovered. Suddenly a swarm of beasts invade the city from below causing chaos, their motives are unknown and their intelligence is brutal.

To save the city from swarms of menacing minions and their five gigantic, evil boss beasts the experienced champions of the Hero Factory must combine forces and create new powerful Battle Machines to once again save the galaxy. Their quest will take them through Antropolis city and down to an underground world of crystal caves, acid pits and magnetic chambers. Can Rocka, Furno, Evo, Bulk, Breez, Surge and Stormer once again save the day or have the Heroes met their match?

LEGO Ninjago Rebooted Extended Video Sneak Peek

LEGO Ninjago fans rejoice! There is a new video of the 2014 LEGO Ninjago Rebooted courtesy of theBrickBlogger. We’ve seen a short trailer of the show but this video is an extended version which shows a lot more.

First, we have the return of the Overlord who is still trying to destroy the ninjas. We also have Cyrus Borg who gave the team the Techno-Blades to defeat the Overlord. However, the Overlord finds out and transforms Cyrus into the OverBorg.

We also see a short clip of P.I.X.A.L. (Primary Interactive X-ternal Assistant Life-form) who works for works for Cyrus Borg but is taken control of by the Overlord. Will she be trying to stop the ninjas from getting out of the city with the Techno-Blades or will she be helping them? We shall see.

The show will be coming in 2014 but the sets are already out in stores and on Shop@Home. Check out the video below to see the extended sneak peek.

LEGO DC Batman: The Joker Steam Roller (76013) Showing Up at Toys R Us

I was informed by a fellow reader who works at Toys R Us that the LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes Batman: The Joker Steam Roller (76013) has started to show up in stores but in very limited quantities. The new Super Heroes sets don’t officially come out until January 1st but it seems that some Toys R Us stores are selling them a little early. If you’re looking to pickup this set which includes Batgirl and Robin from The New 52, call up your local store to see if they have them in stock first before heading out.

LEGO Star Wars and Legends of Chima 2014 Sets Found at Intertoys

Since fans from around the world follow The Brick Fan, here’s something for you guys who live in Holland. Fellow reader Kevin has informed me that he has found all the new 2014 LEGO Star Wars and Legends of Chima sets at his local Intertoys. You can also get a free poster of General Grievous with your purchase of the Star Wars sets. So for you guys in Holland, you can now get your hands on the newest LEGO sets. For us here in the States, we have to wait for about 2 more weeks for the new releases.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2014 Minifigures on eBay

A couple of the new 2014 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes minifigures have already started to show up on eBay. Here you can see a couple of close-ups of the new Electro minifigure from the Spider-Trike vs. Electro (76014) set. What’s cool about him is that he has transparent blue arms which were first seen in the Star Wars Jek-14 minifigure. He also has a fairly transparent head as well.

As an eBay Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

The other minifigure that is on eBay is Red Skull from the Captain America vs. HYDRA (76017) set. He has a black uniform with the HYDRA symbol on the belt buckle. He’s a okay looking minifigure but will be a good addition for Marvel collectors. Brick Heroes also has a couple of images of new classic-style Captain America and the HYDRA Agent from the same set.
