“New” LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Screenshots

There are a couple of “new” LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game screenshots of some more of characters that will be in the game. Why did I put new in quotes? It’s because if you were at the LEGO Marvel panel at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con, you’ve probably already seen these shots from the character reveal and gameplay. For the individuals who didn’t get to see the panel, TT Games has released some screenshots of Wolverine, Jean Grey, Silver Samurai, and Viper. All four characters are available as playable characters. Also, don’t forget there is still time to pre-order the game from Walmart and get the Iron Patriot minifigure and the Gun Mounting System (30168). If you’re across the pond in the UK, the minifigure is available through Amazon.co.uk. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will be released on October 22 here and November 15 in the UK.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game UK Pre-Order Bonus

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Walmart Pre-order - Iron Patriot

Our friends over at Brick Fanatics is reporting that the UK will have the Iron Patriot minifigure (30168) as a pre-order bonus for purchasing the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game from Amazon.co.uk. It looks like that you can also get the Iron Patriot with the handheld versions of the game including the Playstation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and the Nintendo DS. The game will be available in the UK on November 15th.

If you’re here in the States, Walmart is still offering the minifigure as the pre-order bonus but it is only available for the console system versions. Over here, the game is available on October 22nd, however, I do wish that Amazon here offered the same bonus as the on in the UK.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes SDCC 2013 Extended Gameplay Video

Stan Lee in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game

Arthur Parsons of TT Games did an interview with GameSpot after the Marvel Video Games panel yesterday and showed off a 20 minute gameplay video of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game. If you were following our live report on the game yesterday on Twitter, you would’ve seen that it was announced that Stan Lee would also be a playable character. In the extended gameplay video, you can some some of Stan’s superpowers. Since he is the almighty Stan Lee, he can pretty much have any superhero powers such as Spider-Man’s web slinging. Another of his moves is a flame torch coming from his eyes kind of like a Cyclops/Human Torch combination. It was also mentioned that he has a Mr. Fantastic move as well but it wasn’t shown. In an IGN video, Stan is shown to have an adamantium skeleton. Finally, Stan gets to “Hulk” up and turn into Stan Hulk. The body is exactly the same as the original Hulk character but he has Stan’s white hair instead. The animation of him changing back and forth is awesome. The LEGO Marvel Video Game is now available for pre-order at Walmart which includes the Iron Patriot bonus minifigure in the Gun Mounting System (30168). LEGO Marvel Super Heroes SDCC 2013 Exclusive Spider-Man Minifigure

On the second day of the 2013 San Diego Comic Con, it went mostly well at the LEGO booth. The main concern was how the LEGO staff was planning to control the overcrowding issue for the exclusive minifigure giveaway that was stopped abruptly yesterday. The management team figured out one way to deal with the issue was to hold the raffle outside in the West Terrace of the Convention Center. From what it looked like, it was a pretty successful raffle. The only thing that was bad about it was that it was outside and the sun was beaming down on our heads. The line moved pretty quickly and there were two staff members handing out the raffle tickets. After that, you just have to wait until 3:30pm for the LEGO booth to announce the winners. There was also a bonus drawing for the rest of yesterday’s Spider-Woman minifigure. When the winners were announced, I tweeted that I was one of the winners of exclusive The Amazing Spider-Man minifigure! After I calmly picked up my prize, I posted an image on my Instagram account to prove that I was actually a winner. Above is the picture I took after I got back home. In other giveaway news, there another minifigure that was given out to Comic Con attendees. FBTB reported that an Azog minifig was given out somewhere that was not the LEGO booth. We’re still not sure where or how to get Azog as of this time.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Reveals New Character

Yesterday, Marvel revealed the box art for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game and they have said they will be slowly revealing more characters in the game as we get closer to the release date. This went unnoticed but a couple of days ago, Game Director at TT Games Arthur Parsons has let loose another character for all to see. It is none other than Victor Creed also known as Sabretooth. He also confirmed that the game will be available on the next generation consoles including the Xbox One and the Playstation 4.

If you’re going to San Diego Comic Con 2013, you will be able to have a hands-on experience of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes at the Marvel booth (#2329), the LEGO booth (#2829), and at the Xbox Gaming Lounge at the Hyatt all four days of the Con. At the Marvel video games panel on Saturday, there will most likely be more new characters being shown off.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Box Art

The box art for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game has been revealed and I must say, it’s a pretty darn good looking cover. It shows a few of super heroes from the Marvel Universe including Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America, the Hulk, Spider-man, Human Torch, Thor, Fantastic Four, the Thing, Black Widow. If you look closely at the upper right corner, you can also see the Silver Surfer which we haven’t heard much about yet. If you pre-order from Walmart, you’ll get the exclusive Iron Patriot minifigure (30168) for free as a bonus.

In other Marvel news, you will be able to play LEGO Marvel Super Heroes during San Diego Comic Con 2013. The games will be set up all four days at the Marvel booth (#2329), the LEGO booth (#2829), and at the Xbox Gaming Lounge at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. If that’s not enough LEGO Marvel for you, on Saturday at 12:30pm in Room 6A, there will be a panel discussing the game in more detail and Marvel is hinting there might be “something special” for you if you come to the panel dressed in a Marvel costume.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game E3 Gameplay Footage

GameTrailers has got exclusive demo gameplay footage of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes during E3 2013. In the video, Arthur Parsons, Game Director at TT Games, shows us parts of the Asgard stage as well as the character change screen. From what I can see, there are 21 different characters out of over 100 that are playable including Iron Man Mark I, Deadpool, Magneto, and Venom. The Human Torch can even do his “Flame On” move if you like. Each of the playable characters will be able to do their own abilities so you can get the whole Marvel experience out of the game.

It was also announced that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will available for the PlayStation 4 as well as the Xbox One when the new systems come out. More characters will be announced by TT Games bit by bit as the game gets closer to the release so there will be surprises awaiting you when you play the game. As I see more and more footage of the game, I just can’t wait until October rolls by so I play it.
