A few days ago, a new poster for The LEGO Batman Movie was revealed. It shows a lot of the characters we’ve already seen before but it also shows some new ones as well, especially in the background. Can you name them all?

Can I name them all? Sure. Any characters I don’t recognize are hereby named Fred. Fredina for the girls. And since it’s not a super high-res image, there’s a lot of Freds.
There’s Hugo Strange, Mutant Leader, Doctor Phosphorus, Hawkgirl, Black Canary, and the Wonder Twins.

I reeeeally hope they finally make hawkgirl though… gotta make the whole justice league from the cartoon. could totally see them not making her though, just to be dicks. like how they’ve made all the teen titans cept for raven… (they’re making her in that dimensions pack, but that’s the teen titans GO version with a goofy face… yyyyyyech. nty.)

Light flesh, flesh, medium dark flesh, dark flesh, reddish brown. The dark flesh one is the ambulance driver from the Doc Ock Fusion Lab, which came out in 2004. The only other dark flesh head has orange sunglasses and was used as an Arkham Asylum guard and a security guard from Doc Ock’s Bank Robbery (though it was used a _lot_ in yellow).
If you want him to have green eyes, just give them a tap with a green Sharpie.
ah. I actually have a green sharpie somewhere. last time I used it was on a lego head 12+ years ago. might try it if it’s not all dried out.
you just reminded me… they’ve used that specific face for a lot of stuff throughout they years… http://imgur.com/a/tAXD2 I feel like I missed another one from city or something… like one within the last year or 2… one that had a headset or soot or something… idk… pretty weird that they keep using that face, I feel like there ought to be a specific name for that face.
Those aren’t the same face. Similar, but especially with the addition of the CMF theme (which has never reused faces), there’s only so many totally different faces they can design before they start looking like Pablo Picasso got drunk and threw up on them. If they actually printed any two of those faces on top of each other, you’d be able to see the differences a lot more easily, but it’s more like a comic strip artist making two drawings of their main character in the same pose.
i’m referring to the general layout of the face, and how it’s the same formula.
always a scowl, with the “L/J” shaped mouth + a line under the mouth + another “L/J” shaped line on the side of the mouth. sure they slightly change the length, or the color of the facial creases, but for the most part it seems that they’re too similar for it to not have been done on purpose.
I know, it’s so sad that they’re only doing Raven and maybe two other TTG characters, so we’ll have to fake the other 2-3 with the existing Teen Titans minifigs…

I like how they have two face wearing the same gray suit that he wore as Harvey Dent in the 1989 Batman movie… (I thought he was supposed to be a Mexican or something, but he’s voiced by Billy Dee Williams in this movie, so it’s supposed to be the 1989 Dent who was also played by Billy Dee.)

who is the glowing green minifig in the background behind Killer Croc? (No, it is not Green Lantern BTW) He is next to what appears to be March Harriet, (Left) Captain Boomerang and Mime (Right). He is directly above the hand of Killer Croc.
It’s a green glowing skeleton (not just the head). On a guess, it might be the Atomic Skull (Superman villain) or Blight (Batman Beyond villain). If it’s not either of those, it’s clearly Fred. Or Fredina. Hard to tell if that’s a male or female skeleton…
Whoops, just noticed the mention of Doctor Phosphorus. Given the whole Z-list Batman villain thing going on with this movie, that actually seems the most likely. None of the other villains belong specifically to Terry McGinnis that I can tell, nor are they villains to superheroes other than Batman, which should rule out the two I just suggested. Phosphorus is one of Bruce Wayne-Batman’s, and not a very well-known one.
Whatever the case, I want one.
