Updated LEGO Dimensions Expansion Guide

LEGO Dimensions

If you’re still kind of confused on what LEGO Dimensions expansion pack goes with what wave, LEGO has provided an updated infographic of the packs up to the Wave 7 which will be coming out in November. These packs include:

Sonic the Hedgehog Level Pack (71244)
Fantastic Beasts Story Pack (71253)
Gremlins Team Pack (71256)
Fantastic Beasts Tina Fun Pack (71257)
E.T. Fun Pack (71258)
-Marceline Fun Pack (71285) – Toys R Us exclusive

Wave 7.5 was announced a few weeks ago and it includes The LEGO Batman Story Pack (71264), the Knight Rider Fun Pack (71286), and The LEGO Batman Movie Fun Pack (71344) which are all coming out on February 10. There will also be another small wave coming in March that combines with 7.5 to make Wave 8. Warner Bros. did show off Sloth from The Goonies Level Pack but there’s no mentioning of which wave that will be in.

This has actually been on the Lego site for a while now. I’m glad you posted it. 😉

So, in the base game, collecting all ten minikits in any level will unlock a mini model in one of the original 14 Adventure Worlds. In Year 2, there’s no new base game, but there are three announced Story Packs, which contain multiple levels. I haven’t gotten the first Story Pack yet, but does anyone know if the SP levels unlock mini models in the whole range of Year 2 Adventure Worlds, or just the related ones?

Also, I discovered that any of the real Ghostbusters characters can get you into at least the first level for Ghostbusters: Kill the Franchise, but since Abby Yates got loaded up with a ridiculous amount of abilities (including at least one that’s unique to her), and is the only character that can unlock her vehicle model, is there even any point in letting, say, Venkman get you through that portal (I can kinda see the point for Slimer, since he’s in both continuities)? You probably won’t be able to complete even the first mission, and I don’t think you can access the Adventure World until you’ve played through the story missions.

And how is it that Jay and Patty Tolan get access to the Intelligence ability, but Batman, Gandalf, Egon, Ray, and Zane do not?
