LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Endgame Iron Man Hall of Armour (76125)

The spoiler ban for Avengers: Endgame has been lifted today and I’ll be discussing the official LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Endgame sets and how they compare to the movie itself. Although the ban has been lifted, I’ll still give you a final warning for those who still haven’t seen the movie yet.

We all know that licensed LEGO sets usually depicts a certain scene from a show or movie but sometimes they are totally inaccurate due to LEGO having only some minor source material to go on to create a set for it. Again, spoiler warning before you proceed. Don’t pass go if you still haven’t seen the movie yet.

Captain America: Outriders Attack (76123)

The set shows Captain America in his Quantum Suit on a motorcycle fighting some Outriders. This set literally did not appear in the movie. Captain America did wear the suit when he went back to the Battle of New York but he did not ride the motorcycle or fight any Outriders. He only fought the Outriders at the final battle with Thanos.

Film Accuracy: 0.5/5 – Only because of the suit and the Outriders.

War Machine Buster (76124)

Next up is the War Machine Buster which I was looking forward to seeing in the movie. Unfortunately, the scene shown in the set also did not happen at all. The only thing I could think this set is referencing to is the end battle where Ant-Man helped War Machine and the Hulk from the compound rubble and they do fight the Outriders but not in the Quantum Suits. You could say that the War Machine Buster could be the larger Mark VI armor that Rhodes came out the rubble in.

Film Accuracy: 2/5 – The set is somewhat accurate but the size of the suit is totally off. It’s not actually buster sized but just a more bulkier armor.

Iron Man Hall of Armor (76125)

I was a bit confused when I first saw this set because the Hall of Armor was pretty much destroyed in Iron Man 3. Also a majority of the suits weren’t even in the movie so it makes me think that this set was released purely for fan service since we never got an actually Hall of Armor when the Iron Man 3 sets were released. Unless I watched a totally different movie, the Outriders didn’t fight Iron Man inside his lab, even in the past.

Film Accuracy: 0/5 – Basically a fan service set for those who wanted a Hall of Armor from Iron Man 3.

Avengers Ultimate Quinjet (76126)

The Quinjet only makes some brief appearances in Endgame and it definitely was not shown during the final battle. You could say that the Quinjet was from the Battle of New York during the Time Heist but still none of the main heroes shown went back to New York. The only thing that was accurate was the heroes in the Quantum Suits although I wish Thor was fat but then this set wouldn’t have released until after the movie came out.

Film Accuracy: 0.5/5 – Again a very low score because this set didn’t accurately depict what was in Endgame. Points given to the suits.

Avengers Compound Battle (76131)

This set is probably the most accurate set out of the whole wave. The Avengers Compound was completely destroyed even before the battle with Thanos started. There was no helicopter or offroader as those are just additional play features on LEGO’s part. The Thanos bigfig is accurate although the battle axe given looks more like a hammer. I do wish the Hulk had some printing of his new suit. Captain Marvel also does show up but she should’ve had shorter hair than from her standalone movie.

Film Accuracy: 3/5 – The most accurate set from the wave but not as accurate as it could have been without giving spoilers.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Endgame Avengers Compound Battle (76131)

Overall, the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Endgame sets are not as accurate as they could have been. One reason is that there would have been too many spoilers for the movie and there was only a limited number of things LEGO could have used as source material to produce these sets. There are some things that are fairly accurate but keep in mind that these sets are targeted to the younger audience so LEGO has taken some creative liberties to make it appeal to them.

I do like the use of the Quantum Suits as we’ve pretty much gotten the characters in their regular outfits from previous sets including the Infinity War ones which surprisingly are still available.

Which of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Endgame sets are your favorites now that you know they aren’t as accurate as shown on screen?
