In our final review of the LEGO Editions Soccer Highlights sets, we’re taking a quick look at Vini Jr. (43027). The set has 510 pieces and retails for $29.99.
Minifigure
The minifigure features Vini Jr. in his yellow and blue Brazil kit. I do like the dual molded legs with the neon yellow shoes.
Build
Like with the other Soccer Highlights sets, the layout of the build has details with significance to the player. The grass on the field is shaped like a V for Vini. There are some neon yellow slope pieces to show Vini with blazing speed while kicking the ball into the net.
In the front of the build, we have the printed tile showing Vini’s stats and his signature. Unlike the previous sets, there’s no small sign showing his name or popular phrase. Instead, his name is blown up at the back of the build.
In front of the name sign, there’s a little mountainside with a favela in front of the hill.
Results
Overall the LEGO Editions Vini Jr. (43027) is a decent set and LEGO managed to fit a good amount of detail into it. The set is actually the largest of the four Soccer Highlights sets but it does have a smaller footprint than the others.
