LEGO August 2025 Shopping Guide – More Summer Releases for US

July 29, 2025 / Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

It’s almost August and that means it’s one of the biggest LEGO release days of the year for the summer 2025 sets. This includes the introduction of the LEGO One Piece theme which I’m very excited about. There’s also a lot of other sets that I’m very interested in but my wallet won’t like it such as the Transformers Soundwave (10358) and the Batman Forever Batmobile (76304). All in all, there’s over at least 90 sets that will be dropping in this wave here in North America.

For the promotions, the main one is the LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz Adventure Peely & Cuddle Team Leader (40760) which is available from August 1-11 with general purchases of $130 so it’s pretty easy to get.

We’ll also still have the LEGO Star Wars Kamino Training Facility (40765) with the purhcase of the Jango Fett Firespray-Class Starship (75409). This promo will run until August 2.

Hibiscus (10372) – 660 pieces/$69.99

Let your creativity grow with the LEGO Botanicals Hibiscus (10372) building set for adults, which encourages nature fans to embrace their love of artificial flowers as they create a beautiful brick-built hibiscus.

Enjoy building the LEGO plant, which features 5 large blooms, 4 faux flowers that are about to blossom and 2 young flower buds, before discovering the details. Capturing the gentle beauty of nature, the large blooms have lavender-coloured petals and yellow stamens, while the leaves are pale green. Once you’ve finished building the hibiscus, you can move the petals and position the leaves to add a touch of customisation to your creation.

The building set comes with a dark-blue plant pot for easy and graceful home or office decor display, making this a thoughtful birthday or housewarming gift for women, men and all budding florists.

BIONICLE: Masks of Power Officially Cancelled

May 17, 2025 / Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

For eight years, the devs over at Team Kanohi has been hard at work in making BIONICLE: Masks of Power but that has changed as the game has been officially cancelled. In a statement that has been released, it seems that The LEGO Group has asked for the fan-made game to be shut down entirely and basically erase it from the public eye.

It was mentioned that there had been no issues with LEGO and they even endorsed it in their Bits N’ Bricks podcast three years ago. The only reason that Team Kanohi thinks why LEGO wanted them to shut down the game was it was easy to mistake it as an official LEGO product.

Team Kanohi has been renamed to Unmasked Games and the plan now is to use the knowledge from making BIONICLE: Masks of Power to create a new game codenamed Project Rustbound.
