LEGO Creator Winter Village Fire Station (10263) Designer Video

The LEGO Creator Winter Village Fire Station (10263) is set to be released for VIP members tomorrow and LEGO has just released the designer video for the set. LEGO designer Lars Joe talks about some of the features of the set. It has 1,166 pieces and retails for $99.99 and will be available for VIP members until October 1 where it will be available for the general public.

Jump aboard the sleigh and head down to the snowy LEGO® Creator Expert 10263 Winter Village Fire Station, where the holiday season is in full swing. Outside the holly-adorned building, the firefighters are busy filling the ice rink with water from their shiny fire truck while an ice hockey player looks on, and a street musician plays yuletide carols on his saxophone. LEGO has officially announced the 2018 Winter Village set with the LEGO Creator Winter Village Fire Station (10263). LEGO has been traditionally releasing a set every year for the holidays and this latest one will have fans excited for. Coming in at 1,166 pieces and $99.99, the Fire Station has been rumored for a while but we finally get to see the set in its full glory. Check out the press release and more product images below.

We’ve been waiting on some news of the upcoming 2018 LEGO Creator Winter Village set and it has been confirmed on the Italian LEGO Store Flyer that the set will be a Winter Village Fire Station (10263). Fans have been speculating that this year would be a fire station and it’s nice to see that it has been confirmed on public knowledge. We also should be getting the official press release and images of the set soon so stay tuned for that.

LEGO Creator Winter Village 2018 Set Teaser Images

According to the September 2018 LEGO Store Calendar, there are two VIP Early Access sets that will be released starting on September 13. One of the sets is the LEGO Star Wars Betrayal at Cloud City (75222) and the other set is the LEGO Creator Winter Village 2018 set. Lately, LEGO has been teasing some of their upcoming sets and they have revealed in their LEGO News segment, that the set will be announced on September 9. It lands on a Sunday so it’s actually pretty weird that they would do an announcement on that day but we’ll see.

As you can see from the four teaser images, LEGO shows off a Christmas tree, a snowman, a lamp post, and a red telephone. There hasn’t been any rumors on what the next Winter Village set will be but my sources have told me that it could be a Firehouse. Of course, my sources could be wrong but it’ll only be a few weeks before we see what it is. What do you guys think the 2018 LEGO Winter Village set will be?

Rumored LEGO Vestas Wind Turbine Re-Release

Way back in 2008, LEGO released a LEGO Vestas Wind Turbine (4999) promotional set and there’s rumors that the set may be re-released to commemorate the launch of the sustainable bricks initiative. Brick Fanatics is reporting that the Vesta Wind Turbine could be returning later this year in the LEGO Creator Expert line. Since LEGO has invested in wind turbines towards their goal of using 100 percent renewable energy by 2020, it’s not that big of a surprise that LEGO will want to promote it more.

LEGO Creator Free Fall Tower (10267) Listing for 2018?

Here’s something interesting that was just sent my way earlier today. According to Brickmerge.de, there’s another LEGO Creator amusement park set that is supposedly coming out this year with the Free Fall Tower (10267). It interesting because we’ve already gotten an amusement park set this summer with the Roller Coaster (10261) and they usually release once a year so twice a year will be really surprising. If it is a legit listing, we probably won’t see it until summer of next year but LEGO could drop a bombshell on us.

Another thing to note is that LEGO usually calms down on the direct-to-consumer set announcements from October to December, at least from the past few years, so it’ll be really surprising to see another larger set coming out this year. The next D2C sets that are rumored to be releasing this year are in September with the LEGO Star Wars Cloud City set and the LEGO Creator Winter Village set.

What do you guys think of a Free Fall Tower set that is listed to be released this year? Do you think it’s a bit too much since we’ve already gotten the Roller Coaster not too long ago? Personally, I don’t think it’s anything verifiable at this time since this is the first I’ve heard of it.
