New LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Sets Announced

LEGO and SEGA has revealed two new LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets today. Both sets will be available on January 1 , 2025.


Sonic’s Campfire Clash (77001) – 177 pieces

Adventure and fun await video game fans aged 7 and up in this collectible Sonic’s Campfire Clash (77001) building playset. This LEGO® Sonic the Hedgehog™ toy features a campfire area build, speed sphere launcher and speed sphere, plus accessories including a Chaos Emerald and 3 Gold Rings. This video game set also has 4 Sonic character toys: a Sonic minifigure, ’flying’ G.U.N. Beetle robot drone, posable G.U.N. Hunter robot figure and a Tocky. This interactive, feature-packed Sonic toy for boys and girls is a fun playset that encourages kids and fans to create new role-play stories with Sonic and the enemy robots, from relaxing by the campfire to battling the robots to rescue the Tocky and gain the 3 Gold Rings. LEGO Animal Crossing 2025 Official Set Images

There are now official images of the upcoming wave of LEGO Animal Crossing sets via German retailer Lucky Bricks. There were three sets announced during Gamescom last month and they will be available in January 2025.

LEGO Harry Potter Collection Remaster Announced

For the Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts event, Warner Bros Games has announced a remaster of the LEGO Harry Potter Collection but this time for the current generation consoles and Steam coming October 8. The collection combines both LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Years 5-8 as well as the DLC packs that were released. This remaster will have updated graphics and have gameplay at 60 FPS in native 4k resolution as well as haptic feedback and high-res shadow maps. Players that already own the current versions of the game can get the PS5 or Xbox Series versions at discounted prices.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings Free on Prime Gaming

For those who use Amazon Prime Gaming, they are giving away the LEGO The Lord of the Rings video game for free. The game will be available to download until the end of September. The game features the storyline of The Lord of the Rings which includes The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King. LEGO Announces Asmodee Multi-Year Partnership to Create LEGO Board Games

LEGO has announced that they have entered a multi-year partnership with board game company Asmodee to create new shared play experiences. This partnership will create a range of LEGO board games for fans to play within the LEGO universe. The first of these games is the LEGO Monkey Palace which was revealed just last month. They are already working on a second game called Brick: Like This! which is a party game from 2-8 players looks to LEGO bricks to complete word challenges.
