LEGO has posted a teaser image of the Labyrinth Marble Maze (21305) set over on their Facebook Page and other social media pages. This probably means that we should be getting the official reveal any time now even though it seems like we’ve been waiting forever for it. It’ll be available on April 1st and we already know the details of the set like it having 769 pieces and will retail for $69.99. LEGO Ideas Jedi High Council Chamber Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Jedi High Council Chamber project by lojaco is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The set is based on the scenes from the Star Wars prequel trilogy where the Jedi masters meet. It also can incorporate Power Functions to give it more detail. The proposed piece count is under 1,500 pieces.

The Jedi High Council Chamber now joins the Fossil Museum, the Gingerbread House, the Modular Train Station, and the Old Fishing Store as the projects qualify for the First 2016 Review Stage. As cool as the project seems, it is based on LEGO’s top selling license which usually means it almost has no chance of it becoming an official set. Will that change in this review stage? We shall see in upcoming months.

LEGO Ideas Labyrinth Marble Maze (21305) Set Details

There hasn’t been much information about the upcoming Labyrinth Marble Maze (21305) set since it was announced that it would be the next official LEGO Ideas set but Just2Good has shared some new information about it. It’ll be available in April and will have 769 pieces. This will be the largest CUUSOO/Ideas set that LEGO has produced and the pricing will reflect that retailing for $69.99. In terms of the design of the set, J2G has mentioned that it’ll pretty much look like the set submitted on Ideas, seen above, except that that it’ll have bricks instead of Technic parts for the walls. We should be getting official details of the Labyrinth Marble Maze either in February or March.

LEGO Ideas Old Fishing Store Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Old Fishing Store by robenanne is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. This was a very popular project when it first went live in December. I’m not exactly sure where the traffic was coming from but in a little bit over a month, it didn’t take long for the project to get the required number of supporters to get into the First 2016 Review Stage.

As for the project itself, it has the popular modular style that many builders desire and it is not short of design. It consists of 2,160 pieces and has three floors with a removable roof and the back wall able to be opened. The building has a very realistic look with the brown and sand green bricks used. There are also three minifigures included with the proposal.

The Old Fishing Store now joins the Fossil Museum, the Gingerbread House, and the Modular Train Station as the projects that qualify for the First 2016 Review Stage. Keep in mind that all four of these projects so far are non-licensed projects which is what LEGO is trying to push with their Creative Ideas Wanted campaign.

LEGO Ideas Modular Train Station Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Modular Train Station by Legowolf is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The set is based on 19th century train stations in Europe and has many features including:

  • The platform at the back lets you lay track in the same direction as your street, so that your diorama can fit in a compact space. The platform height is sized for standard Lego trains.
  • There is equal detail on front and back, which is unusual for modular buildings.
  • The roof and upper back wall detach, exposing the vaulted interior for play.
  • The focal point inside is the ornate clock and timetable, which features replaceable letters so that you can set your own destinations.
  • The interior features a ticketing office, ticket vending machine, newspaper box, snack bar, public toilets, and turnstiles leading to the platform.
  • The exterior features statuary, decorative moulding and brickwork, and arched glass windows. There is a bicycle rack for couriers in the front, along with public noticeboards.
  • A snack bar opens onto the interior and the station platform, because captive customers are profitable customers!

The project now joins the Fossil Museum and the Gingerbread House as the ones that qualify for the First 2016 Review Stage which is already shaping up to be a pretty good one so far.

LEGO Ideas Gingerbread House Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Gingerbread House by Swan Dutchman is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. We’ve already seen LEGO do a Gingerbread House with the holiday exclusive set 40139 but the project proposes one that’s large enough to fit in with the Winter Village theme. The Gingerbread House now joins the Fossil Museum as the two projects so far to qualify for the First 2016 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Fossil Museum Achieves 10,000 Supporters

LEGO news comes in waves and in this latest one, the Fossil Museum by whatpumpkin is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. This is also the first project to qualify for the First 2016 Review Stage.

The project is pretty much what it says, it’s a little museum scene showing off some skeletons of various dinosaurs including Stegosaurus, Pteranodon, Apatosaurus, Deinonychus, and Spinosaurus. Museums with dinosaur attractions are very popular and this project looks to be a very fun and education set if it becomes an official one.
