Dinosaurs Fossils Skeletons to Become Next LEGO Ideas Set

LEGO has announced a short while ago that the Dinosaurs Fossils Skeletons – Natural History Collection will become the next LEGO Ideas set. The project was designed by Jonathan Brunn a. k.a. Mukkinn and the set is planned for a 2019 release. The details regarding the final design, pricing, and availability will be revealed later this year.

In addition to this announcement, LEGO also stated that the Playable LEGO Piano will need further review. Due to its complexity, LEGO will need addition time to take a look at it to see if is a viable set. The results will revealed in the next review update.

LEGO Ideas Third 2018 Review Results Coming VERY Soon

LEGO has teased that the results for the LEGO Ideas Third 2018 Review Stage should be coming VERY soon. This could mean that the earliest they would announce it could be sometime today or sometime this week. There are five projects that qualified to become a set and they all have a good chance. I’m more partial to the Food Stands and the Dinosaurs but which one do you think would make it up top?

LEGO Ideas 10 Year Anniversary Fan Vote

LEGO Ideas 10 Year Anniversary Review and Fan Vote

LEGO Ideas celebrated their 10th anniversary last year and today, LEGO announced that they are doing something special that kind of resembles one of my April Fool’s joke from a few years ago. This new 10 Year Anniversary Review will bring back a few LEGO Ideas projects that were not approved to become an official set for a second chance to become one. There are four projects that have been pre-approved by the review board which you can vote on and they are:

Small YELLOW

International Space Station

Stitch

Sega Classic Arcade Machines

You will be able to vote on these projects for two weeks and it close on June 4. The votes will be hidden so the numbers won’t be skewed and the final vote count will be revealed at the end of the voting period.

LEGO Ideas UCS Space Shuttle Atlantis Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The UCS Space Shuttle Atlantis by Snelson42 is the latest project to get 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. Some of the features of the Atlantis include:

-Opening payload-bay doors
-Retractable landing gear
-OMS (orbital maneuvering system) thrusters in the nose and aft section
-Robotic CANADARM to manipulate cargo
-Robust rotating display stand
-Adjustable elevons and rudder
-Detailed cockpit

It is the first project to reach the Second 2019 Review Stage.

Nine Projects Qualify for LEGO Ideas First 2019 Review Stage

The LEGO Ideas First 2019 Review Stage is now underway as nine projects have qualified for the process. These projects include:

National Museum – Rio de Janeiro
Anatomini
The Office – NBC
The Pirate Bay
Kakapo
SpaceX BFR / Starship & Super Heavy 1:110 Scale
Addams Family Mansion
123 Sesame Street
Machu Picchu

Each of the projects listed above has a chance to become a future LEGO Ideas set if chosen by the LEGO Jury. Which of these projects are you looking forward to purchasing if they do become an official LEGO Ideas set?

LEGO Ideas Machu Picchu Achieves 10,000 Supporters

Machu Picchu by DDBDR is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The model has 511 pieces and it is a microscale version of the historical landmark with a number of architecture features of the building.

Machu Picchu now joins National Museum – Rio de Janeiro, Anatomini, The Office – NBC, The Pirate Bay, Kakapo, SpaceX BFR / Starship & Super Heavy 1:110 Scale, Addams Family Mansion, and 123 Sesame Street as the projects to reach the First 2019 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas 123 Sesame Street Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The 123 Sesame Street by bulldoozer21 is the latest project to hit 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. If you watched Sesame Street any time in your life, you would instantly recognize the iconic apartment building. The set features a few rooms from the show including Bert and Ernie’s apartment, Gordon and Susan’s dining room, Maria’s living room, and Elmo’s World. The project also proposes 14 minifigures such as Bob, Gordon, Susan, Bert, Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Biff, Sully, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Count von Count, Prairie Dawn, Grover and Elmo.

123 Sesame Street now joins National Museum – Rio de Janeiro, Anatomini, The Office – NBC, The Pirate Bay, Kakapo, SpaceX BFR / Starship & Super Heavy 1:110 Scale, and Addams Family Mansion as the projects to reach the First 2019 Review Stage.
