LEGO Ideas Rebuilding Outdoor Adventures GWP Winner Announced

LEGO has announced the winner of the LEGO Ideas Rebuilding Outdoor Adventures building contest and will become a future gift with purchase set. Out of the 15 entries, LEGO and the fans have chosen the Highland Hike by stubot as the winner. The set will now go into production and will probably be available some time next year.

LEGO Ideas May 23 Update

This past week was a little slower for LEGO Ideas as only three additional projects qualified for the Second 2026 Review Stage. This update has the return of a previous idea that wasn’t approved, an iconic monument, and a classic cartoon.

LEGO June 2026 Shopping Guide

The LEGO summer release months are one of the more bigger releases and June will have tons of new sets available on the LEGO Shop. Here’s a comprehensive guide on what we’ll be seeing in a few weeks and there’s a lot to go through. Note that the US has a different release schedule than other parts of the world so some sets will not be available here while it’ll be on shelves in other countries. We’re only a few days into the LEGO Ideas Second 2026 Review Stage and there are already a few projects that have already qualified for it. For this stage, projects have until September 7 to qualify.

LEGO Hoops and Heroes Mascot Building Contest Announced

May 7, 2026 /

LEGO has kicked off another building contest over on LEGO Ideas called Hoops and Heroes where the winning build will be turned into a LEGO set. For this contest, LEGO wants you to build something that is basketball related, more specifically basketball mascots. It must not contain more than 1,000 pieces and should not be in the BrickHeadz style.

In this partnership with Target, the best classic or original mascot character will be chosen to become an official LEGO set. The deadline to enter is June3 and it doesn’t look like there will be a fan vote on it. The winner will be announced no later than February 11, 2027.
