New LEGO Jurassic World Video Game Instagram Teaser

The official LEGO Jurassic World Instagram page has posted a teaser for the video game that says “Something really really big is coming.” We’re not sure what this teaser is about or how long we’ll be teased before it is revealed. I’m guessing it will be a longer trailer for the LEGO Jurassic World Video Game. Hopefully we don’t have to wait another month for more details about the game. Thanks to Nicholas for the heads up.

Awesome LEGO Jurassic Park Stop-Motion Video

Jurassic Park is by far my favorite movie of all time and I was ecstatic that there will be new LEGO sets based on the upcoming Jurassic World movie. Anything that includes a combination of LEGO and Jurassic Park, I’m totally in and this brings us to this stop-motion video that I was emailed about by Paul Hollingsworth. Let’s go back to where it all began with the first Jurassic Park movie with Digitalwizardz over on YouTube where they have created one of the best LEGO animations based on the first movie that I’ve seen. This video is sort of an abridged version of the movie which includes various, yet famous quotes from Jurassic Park mixed with some LEGO humor.

The crew of the film includes Paul and his daughter and their friends as well as animation by Forrest Whaley and Sean Willets. Check out the video as well as the behind the scenes video below.

LEGO Jurassic World Raptor Rampage (75917) First Look

Mashable has given our first look at the LEGO Jurassic World Raptor Rampage (75917) set in anticipation of the 2015 New York Toy Fair tomorrow. There’s no mentioning of piece count but the set does include Owen, Claire, a park ranger, and two Velociraptors named Blue and Charlie. The set will retail for £49.99.

LEGO Jurassic World Teaser Trailer and Owen Minifigure Revealed

Today WB Games released a teaser trailer for the upcoming LEGO Jurassic World video game. The video shows the iconic water cups from Jurassic Park with the T-Rex footstep rumble. The Rex then crushes the cups and does his very familiar roar and something hilarious ensues. You can now pre-order the game from GameStop and I’m pretty sure that they’ll be having an exclusive minifigure to go along with it.

To coincide with the teaser trailer, Chris Pratt has revealed an official image of his character in the movie, Owen. Pratt is on a roll with LEGO minifigures of his characters with Emmet from The LEGO Movie and Star Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Again, I did see the trailer and the minifigure this morning but wasn’t near a computer to report it. Thank you to everyone who emailed about it.

LEGO Jurassic World Video Game Pre-Order at GameStop

It was just announced yesterday that TT Games will be releasing LEGO Jurassic World on all major video game systems. You can now pre-order the game at GameStop and it is tentatively scheduled to be released on June 30. The game will follow the storylines of Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III, as well as the upcoming Jurassic World movie. We can probably expect an exclusive minifigure to be included with the game which will probably be announced as we get closer to the release date. I’m hoping it’ll be a John Hammond, Alan Grant, or an Ian Malcolm minifigure as they’re the most iconic characters out of the trilogy so far.

LEGO Jurassic World 2015 Set Infographic

Jurassic Bricks has found a neat little infographic detailing the upcoming wave of LEGO Jurassic World sets that is set to be released in May/June. The image comes from an unofficial Jurassic World Facebook Page and it shows silhouettes of the dinosaurs and minifigures as well as building and vehicles for each set.

We first learned of some details of the sets when CapnRex101 did his report last week from the London Toy Fair. From this image, we now know the other names of the raptors in set 75920 as Delta and Echo. I saw on another image that one of the raptors is named Alpha so we’ll see which one it is later. Most of the other stuff we already had some details of from London. Obviously, there are some little things that are left off the image but for the most part, everything seems to match up.

Pteranodon Capture (75915) – £19.99 – Similar to the LEGO Dino Tower Takedown (5883). Set includes 2 minifigures and a Pteranodon.

Dilophosaurus Ambush (75916) – £29.99 – Includes a new mold of the Dilophosaurus and also has 2 minifigures.

Raptor Rampage (75917) – £49.99 – Only set to have Chris Pratt’s character (Owen) which is very strange considering he is the main character. He rides a motorcycle and set also has two different colored Velociraptors named Blue and Charlie. The set also has a blue and white truck and 2 other minifigures.
