Possible LEGO 2016 Set List?

An interesting list popped up over on BrickPicker that could be a potential list of the first-half 2016 LEGO sets for various themes. This list does correspond to earlier rumors of some City and Ninjago sets for next year. The list was scrambled when I looked at it so I tried to organize it into separate themes. If you look closely, there could be a hint to what the next modular set could be. Keep in mind this isn’t an official list.

Watch the LEGO Ninjago Season 6 SDCC 2015 Exclusive Clip

LEGO Ninjago SDCC 2015 Panel

For those who have been wanting to see the exclusive Season 6 clip of LEGO Ninjago from San Diego Comic Con 2015, LEGO has upload that particular clip to YouTube as an unlisted video. I’ve been asked many questions about the panel on social media about the video and now you can see it for yourself.

The video doesn’t show much but as you can see from the clip below, the Ninjas are now wanted by the police and are on the run. There were also subtle hints after the panel that next season will have Pirates included as well.

Watch the LEGO Ninjago San Diego Comic Con 2015 Panel

LEGO Ninjago SDCC 2015 Panel

Earlier today, LEGO has updated the LEGO Ninjago panel from San Diego Comic Con 2015 to YouTube. I’ve done a recap of the panel but if you want to experience it yourself, you can watch the 43 minute video below. The panel includes the design team for Ninjago which includes Tommy Andreasen (senior creative manager, The LEGO Group), Dan Hageman (writer, Ninjago TV series), Kevin Hageman (writer, Ninjago TV series), Keith Malone (content development director, The LEGO Group) Simon Lucas (creative lead, LEGO Ninjago), and Maarten Simons (senior designer, LEGO Ninjago) and was moderated by Brian Bowler (marketing director, The LEGO Group).

As for those who have been asking what will be happening next season of Ninjago, the panel does give you some hints on who the villain will be. Not mentioned in the video, but there were lanyards given out to attendees which may suggest that next season will revolve around Pirates. The only bad thing about these videos is that they do not include the exclusive clips that were shown at that time.

LEGO City & LEGO Ninjago 2016 Set Rumors

The summer 2015 wave of sets are scheduled to be released soon and that means rumors are starting to pop up about 2016 sets. The first of these rumors is for the 2016 LEGO City sets. A few days ago, legomilk over on Eurobricks has talked about some of the LEGO City stuff including some Fire sets, one of which is a large Fire Station that will go for around €109,99. Other City sets that were mentioned are some small police sets, cars and garage, cleaning sets, and rescue sets. I’m assuming that the rescue sets will be related to the fire station.

Some other rumors for 2016 are for the LEGO Ninjago sets. Again, legomilk give some small details about next year’s wave of Ninjago sets noting that they will be back but with 5 sets. This might not seem like a lot but keep in mind that we’ve gotten a lot of sets this year from the Tournament of Elements wave to the recently finished Morro storyline. We’re not sure what will be going on in 2016 but there have been hints that it might involve pirates next year so we’ll see plus there’s the LEGO Ninjago movie coming in 2017 so I don’t see the theme going away anytime soon.
