New Images of LEGO Scooby-Doo Mystery Plane Adventures & Haunted Lighthouse

Hoth Brick has new images of two of the new LEGO Scooby-Doo sets that somehow snuck out from the 2015 Nuremberg Toy Fair.

Mystery Plane Adventures (76901) which includes Scooby and Shaggy chasing the Headless Horseman on a white horse. The set also includes the blue and green biplane. It has been noted that the pumpkin head from the Headless Horseman can be removed to reveal the real face of the criminal.

The other image is of the Haunted Lighthouse (75903) which includes Scooby, Shaggy, and Daphne along with a bearded ghost guy and a marsh creature.

The only set that we’re missing an image from is the Mummy Museum Mystery (75900). You can check out the other revealed sets on our LEGO Scooby-Doo category page.

First Look at LEGO Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion (75904)

LEGO Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion (75904)

Coming off our earlier report on the new LEGO Scooby-Doo The Mystery Machine (75902), there is now another set image from the wave. Toy News International has an image of the Mystery Mansion (75904) which is the biggest set in the wavve. There’s no word on the piece count but it will be priced at $89.99. The minifigures that are included with the set are Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, Vampire, Ghost, and The Black Knight. The set itself does look pretty similar to the Monster Fighters Vampyre Castle (9468) as reported by CapnRex101.

The picture above may not do the set justice as CapnRex noted that there was more detail inside the Mystery Mansion than on the outside although there are some nice details such as the clock face and the man-eating plant next to the greenhouse. Additionally, note that Shaggy also rides a scooter as well. The only downside of this set is that you will need to get this set to complete the whole gang as Velma is exclusive to this one. Stay tuned as more images slowly are being released for the LEGO Scooby-Doo sets.

LEGO Scooby-Doo 2015 Rumored Set List

Remember last year when we reported on a rumor that there will be some LEGO Scooby-Doo sets coming sometime this year? Well I received a tip from a very reliable source that the rumor is true and has provided a list of the set names and numbers. From the info that was reported last year, the sets below will be released around May/June 2015.

Mummy Museum Mystery (75900)

New Rumors of LEGO Scooby-Doo Theme Coming in 2015

Late last night, we reported on a new rumored “spooky” retro theme that would be potentially coming out in 2015. One of the guesses that people thought of was Scooby-Doo. What we know so far is that Character Building had the license to produce figures based on the TV show but it may have expired or will be expiring and LEGO picked it up much like what happened with Doctor Who.

There has now been an update and it looks like there will indeed be a LEGO Scooby-Doo theme next year. According to the comments over on Hoth Bricks, a user by the name of Miniworld knows someone who has seen some of the Scooby-Doo sets at a showroom in France and was able to give some descriptions.

First, they are scheduled for release around May/June 2015. There will be four sets in total including the famous Mystery Van which has minifigures of Fred, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo. The next set is a Haunted House that includes Shaggy, Scooby, Daphne, and Velma. There were also two other sets but there aren’t any descriptions. However, they mention that there was a Swamp Monster in one of these sets.

This new report collaborates what Iso3200 said a few days ago over on the Brickset Forums. Also, note that Warner Bros. will be releasing a new TV show called Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! and will be shown on Cartoon Network, which both companies are also partners of The LEGO Group, so these sets could be based on that. Given … Continue
