LEGO Star Wars Scarif Stormtrooper (40176) Polybag Found

It looks like there’s a new LEGO Star Wars polybag that has surfaced that goes with the same style as the R3-M2 (40268) from a few months ago which is the Scarif Stormtrooper (40176). Like before, the minifigure goes on a little stand with a background. There’s no word on when it will be available. The R3-M2 was available at LEGOLAND California and only recently in the UK and as far as I know, it hasn’t been available through regular channels like Shop@Home or Toys R Us at this time.

LEGO Releases Image of Star Wars Old Luke Skywalker Minifigure

LEGO Star Wars

It looks like the Russian portal for LEGO.com has given our first look at Old Luke Skywalker from the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens heading into Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The image pays tribute to the 40th anniversary of Star Wars and the outfit shown in the image above is similar to Obi-Wan Kenobi’s from various sets that has been released already with some slight color changes.

There’s no way to know that this version of him will be in an upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Last Jedi set coming this Force Friday until sets start to be revealed days leading up to the event.

Thanks to everyone who messaged in about this earlier today.

How a LEGO Star Wars Set is Created

A particular LEGO set takes lots of time and planning to get from the development stage to store shelves. During Star Wars Celebration 2017, LEGO Star Wars Senior Art Director and Brand Manager Rob Johnson did a panel to discuss the development process of how a LEGO Star Wars set was created which normally the public doesn’t get to see.

Solid Brix Studios was able to attend the exclusive panel and he has posted the whole panel on his channel. If you have some time, I highly suggest checking out the video as it does have some great detail of how a LEGO set is made.

Did LEGO Accidentally Confirm LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon?

There has been lots of rumored regarding the new LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon. Back in January, there were details about the ship itself while in April, there were details about some of the minifigures. There was even a reported price point of $799.99 for it.

The latest intel that was revealed was on LEGO Shop@Home itself. Earlier today, when people did a search for “UCS Millennium Falcon,” you would get a a coming soon page with the message, “Coming soon. You’re ahead of the game! That product is coming soon. Try again later!” This message was confirmed by others in various regions of the world as well. As of this writing, it looks like LEGO has fixed the query and it comes up with the no results found message.

Did LEGO accidentally reveal that there is a new UCS Millennium Falcon coming? Thanks to everyone who emailed in about it as well.

LEGO Star Wars 2017 May the 4th R2-D2 (30611) Polybag Sold Out Online

LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 (30611)

It looks like the exclusive 2017 May the 4th LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 (30611) polybag is now out of stock over on Shop@Home. It didn’t make it past the whole promotional event period online but some stores may still have them available. If you weren’t able to get one online but have a store close to you, I suggest calling your store to see if they have any left over. If you decide to just buy the polybag outright, they are available on eBay.

As an eBay Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

LEGO Star Wars Toys R Us May the 4th Princess Leia Review

LEGO Star Wars Toys R Us May the 4th Princess Leia

Today was the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th event at Toys R Us in which participants could build Princess Leia. I’m on vacation but was able to attend the TRU here and build her. The set is very simple with no exclusive parts so you can easily build her. I do like that 33291 brown flower pieces are used for her hair buns instead of 1×1 stud pieces.

I must say that the Princess Leia build is actually pretty bad compared to other TRU builds that they’ve done before especially for the Star Wars 40th anniversary. The event itself, however, was very organized. As a reader said before, the intent was there but was poorly executed.
