In keeping with with reveals of 2016 LEGO sets and minifigures, there’s a new one that popped up on Brick Heroes earlier today. They’ve found an image of the new Wonder Woman minifigure that will be included in a LEGO Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice set (76046). The outfit closely resembles the one that Gal Gadot wears in the movie. Also rumored for that particular set are Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Lois Lane, two other minifigures, the Batwing and a helicopter in the colors of LexCorp.
Update: I’m going to assume that LEGO would want this image taken down too with the takedown notice of the 2016 set images so I’ve went ahead and removed it. Sorry folks.

I’m not sure how long these will stay up but Bothan spies (whung, CM4sci, J2G) over on Eurobricks has found a slew of LEGO 2016 set images found on LEGO’s servers already. Note that these images are official and do not have watermarks but LEGO can decide to remove them from the servers at any time. Some of the images are system sets while some are promotional or polybag sets. What sets are you looking forward to?
Update: LEGO has taken down all their links on their server but the good folks at Brickset had them backed up.
Update 2: LEGO has begun telling sites to remove the images so I’ve complied to their wish. If you’re looking for them, they’re still out there on the web. You just have to find them.

If you’re going to Disney World Florida, you may want to check out the LEGO Store in Downtown Disney. The reason is because they are selling the exclusive LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier (5002943) for $4.99 each. If you remember, this minifigure polybag was available in June with purchases of $75 or more but it seems that the Orlando location has a large abundance of them. There’s no word on whether the Anaheim location has the same deal or not. If someone can confirm that in the comments, that would be great.
Update: It has been confirmed that the polybag is NOT available at Disneyland Anaheim.

Earlier this year, I reported that the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes The Joker Bumper Car (30303) will be coming to Target stores sometime this year and it looks like they’ve finally showed up. There have been multiple reports that the polybag has been found on endcaps in the toy section as well as at checkout lanes for $3.99. The DPCI number for it is 204-00-0479 so you can use an inventory checker to see if there are any near your area. This is probably the cheapest way to get the Joker minifigure and the bumper car isn’t too bad either. Thanks to Dan for messaging this in.

If you followed my coverage of San Diego Comic Con, you would know that there was a panel called DC Comics Meets LEGO Art which featured Nathan Sawaya as a guest. There he talked about his upcoming exhibition called The Art of the Brick: DC Comics and today Comic Book Resources has revealed the LEGO Batmobile that he has created for the exhibit. As you can see, it is a full-size Batmobile which was designed by Jim Lee at SDCC and was created with over 500,000 bricks in less than three months and is 18 foot long.
The tour for The Art of the Brick: DC Comics will open at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, Australia on November 22.

USA Today has released the first animated short for the new DC’s Super Hero Girls series. If you remember back in April, Warner Bros. announced that LEGO will also be producing sets based on this series. There’s still no word yet on of the characters of Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Bumblebee, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Katana will be actual minifigures or mini-dolls similar to the Friends and Elves themes. I have a feeling that it’ll be the latter.
The LEGO Group will also be key to building the DC Super Hero Girls franchise, leveraging their experience and success engaging girls in creative construction play to bolster this universe through an array of LEGO® building sets designed to inspire girls’ imaginations.
