LEGO Marvel Super Heroes War Machine Minifigure?

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes War Machine

eBay seller, lego*dudes, has been releasing some minifigures of unreleased LEGO sets last year and they’re back with another one. In this listing, they are selling a War Machine minifigure possibly from one of the Iron Man 3 sets that will be coming out later this year. The minifigure’s helmet looks similar to Iron Man’s from last year except that it’s grey. The torso and legs have some very nice printing. If this is the real War Machine minifigure, will you be excited to get the set(s) that he’ll be in?

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Announced

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game

LEGO, Marvel, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and TT Games have announced their latest addition to the video games line, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. The game will be available Fall 2013 for various systems including Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita, and Windows PC. The game will be looking to joining many successful LEGO games including Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, as well as Batman and Batman 2.

The storyline will center around Nick Fury calling many Marvel Super Heroes including Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and with more than 100 Marvel characters to unlock, to save the Earth from the forces of Loki and Galactus. There are 8 scenes from the X-Men, Iron Man and Spider-Man franchises and hints of scenes from the new Iron Man 3 film as well. I also wonder if LEGO will be throwing in an exclusive pre-order minifigure like with some of the other LEGO video games. If so, who could it be?

LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes Batman Visual Dictionary Review

Back on Black Friday, I purchased a couple of LEGO books that were on sale and one of them included the DC Universe Super Heroes Batman Visual Dictionary by Dorling Kindersley Publishing. The book has 96 pages of almost everything you may want to know about the DC Universe LEGO sets. The book begins with a timeline of all the Batman sets starting in 2006 with the Batman Dragster: Catwoman Pursuit until the most recent DC Universe themed sets in 2012. It also goes in-depth describing all the vehicles in every single set and giving facts that you may have never knew about. In the back of the book, it tells you about the design team and how they come up with ideas for the sets.

As a bonus with all LEGO dictionaries, you also get an exclusive minifigure with the book. In this book, you get the Electo Suit Batman. It is the same suit that you can find in the LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes video game.

Overall, it’s a nice small book to add to your collection. It makes a good coffee table book as well. The Electro Suit Batman minifigure right now is is worth more on BrickLink than the cost of the book itself.
