There are now official images of the new LEGO Marvel Spider-Man & Green Goblin Mech Battle (76219) which is set to be released in April. The set has 296 pieces and retails for $19.99 and it features a slightly updated Green Goblin minifigure. You can pre-order the set today and will ship on April 1.

There’s been a lot of resentment in the community regarding mech builds for the Super Heroes line and I somewhat agree as well. We have to keep in mind that LEGO is first and foremost geared towards kids and I assume LEGO’s market research on mech build are positive with kids and that’s why there’s always at least one per wave. We do, however, have some other cool Marvel sets coming down the line such as Thor’s Hammer (76209) to look forward to.

Marvel just dropped the newest trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness during the first commercial break for the Super Bowl and it’s even more crazy than I expected. There’s so many cameo teasers and possibly sets up the Illuminati which could introduce a number of new Marvel characters such as Namor, Reed Richards, and if you looked closely, don’t that look like Professor Xavier? Also, I’m not sure but that could also be Devil Dinosaur fighting a triceratops. It’s just look insane and I can’t wait for it.

LEGO has revealed a brand new LEGO Marvel set with Thor’s Hammer (76209). The set contains 979 pieces and will retail for $99.99. The set will be released on March 1 but you can pre-order today on the LEGO Shop and it does qualify for the Vintage Taxi promo.

Based on the Infinity Saga items, the set features Mjolnir and it also includes a display stand for it similar to the Infinity Gauntlet (76191). There’s even some artifacts from Odin’s Vault including the Infinity Gauntlet, Tesseract and Odin’s Fire which can fit inside Mjolnir for easy storage. Lastly, it has a Thor minifigure as well.

LEGO has relisted the three LEGO Marvel 2022 mech sets on the LEGO Shop with a new release date of April 1. Last month, another fan media revealed an email communication with those who got review sets that there was some stability issues with them and the official launch date of January 1 would not be happening. Perhaps, LEGO has fixed the issues and the sets are ready to go but the images look the same as before. I’ve reached out for additional details but as of right now, the three mechs will be greenlighted for April 1.
