LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Venom Crawler (76163) Official Images

There are now official images of the LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Venom Crawler (76163) set. It has 413 pieces and will retail for only $29.99 which is a little surprising. The set features a Venom spider mech and a small buggy but the main attraction are the minifigures which includes Spider-Man, Carnage, and Iron Venom which is a Venomized version of the character. If you’re not familiar with the Venomized comic series, the symbiotes have chosen various heroes and villains to bond with and it’s actually a pretty good series. Hopefully LEGO continues with the Venomized line as we can get newer version of the characters. The Venom Crawler will be available on March 1.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Rumored 2020 Sets

We didn’t get much information about the summer 2020 wave of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets that came out from the Nuremberg Toy Fair but there are now some new rumors of what we can expect to see in the future. We already know about the Spider-Man vs. Venom (76151) and the Iron Man Bust (76165) and the Black Widow’s Helicopter Chase (76162) which comes out in March.

There will be one set called Wrath of Loki (76152) which also consists of the Avengers Tower. It is a 4+ set that includes a small Quinjet and Loki’s ship. There will be minifigures of Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, and Loki.

A new Helicarrier (76153) is also reported to be coming. It is a smaller version than the UCS style one we got a few years ago. It has seven minifigures including Iron Man, Thor, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Nick Fury, War Machine, and a SHIELD agent. There will also be a brick-built M.O.D.O.K.

Some other sets that will be coming include a Hulkbuster (76164), another Avengers Tower (76165), as well as sets based on The Eternals movie.

There is Venom Crawler (76163) which I’ll touch more on in another post. It looks like that set will be a Venomized set in which the symbiotes bonds with other super heroes and villains.

One of my favorite themes is LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and there were some new summer 2020 sets displayed at the 2020 Nuremberg Toy Fair but we can only talk about some of them. The big one is the Iron Man Bust (76165) which is a 18+ set and will retail for €59.99. The release date on it is early May. LEGO has been releasing characters as LEGO busts and I’m excited to see one of the most iconic Marvel characters as one as well.

The other Marvel set that was reported on was Spider-Man vs. Venom (76151) which releases in February. Although more Super Heroes sets were on display, the details are still under embargo.
