Today is National Comic Book Day and another exclusive has been announced for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 video game. For pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition of the game, you also get a comic art poster of the box art along with the other exclusives such as the Season Pass, early access to the Classic Guardians of the Galaxy Character Pack, and the Giant-Man/Goliath (Hank Pym) LEGO minifigure. More than likely the poster will come folded but still a neat little item. Stay tuned as more things are revealed for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 at New York Comic Con next week.
A few more characters have been revealed for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 the past few days. The first one is Horus who we’ve seen before but now we get a clearer image of him in his outfit which is the Earth-9106 version. The other character that has been revealed for the game is Captain America 2099. This is the third character from the 2099 Marvel Universe that will be in the game joining Spider-Man 2099 and Goblin 2099. I expect there will be more 2099 characters to be in the game and hoping for Ghost Rider 2099 and Punisher 2099.

I’ve been slacking on this a little but there have been some more recent character reveals for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 during PAX West 2017. Some of these characters include Iron Fist, Hela, and Old West Tony Stark. What’s cool about Tony is that he has an Old West Iron Man suit that he can change into.
The latest reveal from a few days ago was the Spectacular Spider-Ham. This character could suggest that Peter Porker could be included in the game as well.
Stay tuned for EGX 2017 from September 21-24 as there could be some more character reveals there. TT Games will be doing a livestream on Sunday 9/24 at 2pm BST on Twitch so we could see some new stuff then as well.

On two separate days at San Diego Comic Con 2017, LEGO was giving away to attendees an exclusive LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Legends of Tomorrow Vixen. If you’re not a fan of the show, you may be wondering who this character is. There are actually two versions of the character in the Arrowverse with this one being Mari’s grandmother. Like with previous exclusive SDCC LEGO minifigures, she comes in a clamshell with a backing card.
Vixen wears a dark brown outfit with some tan armor printing. There’s also printing of the Anansi Totem necklace that goes around her neck. The legs also have some more detail printing including the knee armor. Her double-sided head piece is nouget colored with a normal expression on one side and a smirk on the other. Her hair piece is brown with a braid in the back.
The LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Legends of Tomorrow Vixen minifigure is a pretty obscure character for those who aren’t familiar with the show. This also marks the second SDCC minifigure in a row for Legends of Tomorrow joining Atom from last year. Will we continue this trend of seeing more LoT minifigures at SDCC or will we be seeing other DC properties? We shall see in less than a year. Admittedly, Vixen isn’t as popular as the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Deadpool Duck but she was popular enough for people to line up hours before the raffle started for a chance to get her.
