London Toy Fair 2015 LEGO Set Report

The 2015 London Toy Fair has kicked off and the folks over at Brick Fanatics has given the rundown of the Summer 2015 LEGO sets of various themes. Instead of doing separate posts, we’re going to condense everything here with details that were given and update as more details come in.

LEGO TECHNIC 2015 Official Images Revealed

LEGO TECHNIC Cherry Picker (42031)

LEGO TECHNIC fans, you now get in on the official images for the 2015 LEGO TECHNIC sets courtesy of Just2Good. The Race Truck gets a slight update from the set of the same name (8041) from 2011. Although I’m not into LEGO TECHNIC, I must say that the 24 Hours Race Car looks pretty nice. There’s also a set that does not have images yet and that’s the Record Breaker (42033) which is some sort of rocket car.

Update: The images for the Record Breaker are now available via Spielwaren-Bludau.

We’re almost getting to the end of the 2015 LEGO set news but before we end, we have a list of LEGO TECHNIC sets courtesy of Ghostmind on Eurobricks. Pricing in New Zealand Dollars again are from CM4Sci and David. I’m not into TECHNIC sets that much the 24 Hours Race Car, aka 24 Hours of Le Mans, look very promising and could possibly use the new tires from The Tumbler (76023).

Incredible LEGO Technic by Sariel Available for Pre-Order

Paweł “Sariel Kmieć has been hard at work this year to release his second book, Incredible LEGO Technic: Cars, Trucks, Robots, and More! LEGO Technic Volvo L350F Wheel Loader (42030) Promo Video & Press Release

Volvo has released a press release and a video of how The LEGO Group and Volvo teamed up to create the Technic Volvo L350F Wheel Loader (42030). It seems that Eurobricks forum member Johan Sahlström, aka Superkalle who is also a Volvo engineer, had a hand in helping in the design of the set. As we’ve seen before, the L350F was revealed at the 2014 Nuremberg Toy Fair earlier this year.

LEGO Technic 2014 Sets Revealed at Nuremberg Toy Fair 2014

The first images and videos of some of the new 2014 LEGO Technic sets have been revealed at the 2014 Nuremberg Toy Fair by Hobby Media. Displayed at the show was a Red Truck (42029) and a Volvo Front Loader (40230). Those are not the official names of the sets but just descriptions of what they are. The Front Loader has Power Functions included and can lift up to a kilo and was said to go for about 240 Euros.

London Toy Fair 2014 LEGO Set Report

The London Toy Fair 2014 is currently going on right now and the teams over at Brick Fanatics as well as All About Bricks has been covering what’s been going on. They have done initial reports of the LEGO sets displayed at the convention. Unfortunately, photography is not allowed. but Exhibit 3 Sixty has managed to get one of the LEGO City display. In addition to all the reported information, I’ve also added information that we already had from previous posts.
