LEGO Picnic Blanket (5006016) Promotion Now Available

LEGO has been doing some premium gift with purchases and their latest one is for a Picnic Blanket (5006016). It is available with purchases of $199 or more on Shop@Home only from now until August 25. I’m not sure how the material feels like but it seems like it’s made of higher quality fabric and it is LEGO branded. The promotion for the Canvas Tote Bag is still going on as well so if you spend $200, you can get both promo items at the same time. I would’ve held off on my purchase from before if I knew this was coming out as well. Lesson learned.

Pre-Order LEGO 2019 Advent Calendars on Amazon

You can now pre-order the new 2019 LEGO Advent Calendars on Amazon. This year, there will be four calendars to choose from instead of the usual three with the Harry Potter (75964) one added for 2019. I’m not sure if there will be a HP one for next year but it’s nice to see something new and different this year. The calendars will be available starting on September 1.

LEGO August 2019 Double VIP Point Sets

We’re now a few days into August and I want to highlight the two LEGO Double VIP Point sets for the month. For August we have some larger sets in LEGO’s portfolio which are the LEGO Technic 4×4 X-treme Off-Roader (42099) and LEGO City Passenger Train (60197). The Off-Roader costs $249.99 and you can earn a cool 3,250 points while the Passenger Train costs $159.99 and you’ll get 2,080 points for it.

LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311) Amazon Sale – August 2019

Amazon currently has the LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311) on sale for 11% off which is close to price matching Best Buy, of all places. This is about $20 off the retail price of $179.99 and we normally don’t see this set on sale. As I mentioned before, this is probably my favorite LEGO Ideas set and it was named my top LEGO set of 2018.

LEGO Sales on Shop@Home – August 2019

A majority of the sets are from The LEGO Movie 2 and I think one of the good deals is for Benny’s Space Squad (70841). It is now priced at $7.99 and you get four different space minifigures. If you’ve been waiting to get TLM2 sets at a discount, now is a good time to especially with some of the promotions that are going on right now. LEGO Batman Batmobile: Pursuit of The Joker (76119)

It’s August 1 and that means there are tons of new LEGO sets that are now available on LEGO Shop@Home. I didn’t really count but there are over 50 new sets ranging from the new Batman 80th Anniversary sets to the highly anticipated LEGO Hidden Side theme.

Remember there are some promotions going on at the beginning of the month. First is the free Reversible Tote Bag (5005910) with purchases of $200 or more. This runs from August 1-14, while supplies last. The other promotion is the free LEGO Jurassic World Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382) polybag with purchases of $35 or more on the JW sets.
