LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (10179) on Sale on Woot!

Ok this is something I wouldn’t normally post but Woot! somehow has gotten their hands on the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector’s Series Millennium Falcon (10179) and is selling them for $2,199.99. This deal is at least a few hundred dollars less than it is listed for on eBay or Amazon. So if you have some extra cash laying around from Christmas or from your birthday, now’s your best chance to pick up what many collectors consider as the Holy Grail of Star Wars UCS sets at a fairly decent price. This deal will expire in 2 days (as of this post) or until they are sold out.

New January 2014 LEGO Sets Now Available Plus Promo Details

It’s January, in the east coast at the time of this writing, and there are new LEGO sets available to purchase on Shop@Home. Some notable additions include the Maersk Line Triple E (10241). The set contains 1518 pieces and goes for $149.99. Next is the LEGO Creator Parisian Restaurant (10243) which contains 2469 pieces and retails for $159.99. The newest LEGO CUUSOO set is also avaialble, the NASA Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover (21104). It has 295 pieces and goes for $29.99. Finally, you can get your hands on the LEGO Architecture Eiffel Tower (21019). This new addition contains 321 pieces and selling for $34.99.

There are also some promotions going on this month. From January 1-20, for every purchase of $50 or more, you can get a free LEGO City Police ATV Polybag (30228), while supplies last.

At the start of every week of January, you can get a free LEGO Movie character poster with any purchase. The characters include Wyldstyle, Emmet, Lord Business, and Batman.

Another promo for the movie is from January 20 through February 16, head over to your local LEGO Store and build something to display and you can get a free The LEGO Movie Accessory Pack.

LEGO January 2014 Deals and Promotions

December is almost over so it’s time to talk about the LEGO deals and promotions for January 2014. Not only are there promotions, a lot of new sets that we’ve been reporting on the past few months will be available for purchase at LEGO brand stores and on Shop@Home as well as at other major retailers.

From January 1-20, while supplies last, for every purchase of $50 or more, you can get a free LEGO City Police ATV Polybag (30228). During the month of January, LEGO will be heavily promoting The LEGO Movie and they have some promotions for it. Beginning each week of the month, you can get a free poster of some of the characters in the movie including Wyldstyle, Emmet, Lord Business, and Batman. Starting January 20 through February 16, visit your local LEGO store to build something and put it on display to get a free The LEGO Movie Accessory Pack, while supplies last. Finally on January 7, the Monthy Mini Model Build is a Snow Plow.

As mentioned before, there are a lot of new sets from many themes that should be on the shelves including the newest modular set, the Parisian Restaurant (10243) as well as the Maersk Line Triple E (10241). Free LEGO The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Poster With Purchase

LEGO brand stores and Shop@Home will be giving away a FREE LEGO The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug poster with a purchase of any LEGO The Hobbit sets. This includes any of the 2014 sets that were recently released at the beginning of the month. The poster is the same one that I got from the early Black Friday 2013 VIP shopping event a few weeks ago (see below). The poster is not made from ordinary paper materials but is made from a thicker matte material that is great for framing. Just a precaution, I recommend heading to your local LEGO store to pick it up in case the one given online may get folded. This offer is only valid until December 15th or while supplies last.

Update: One of our readers headed to their local store and unfortunately, the poster is the lightweight paper one. At least it has the same design as the other one.

LEGO Black Friday 2013 Shopping Deals

Thanksgiving is here and Black Friday 2013 shopping is upon us and the biggest shopping day of the year is about to begin. As we reported a couple of days ago, LEGO brand stores and Shop@Home will be having their own Black Friday shopping event called “Brick” Friday. The event starts tomorrow and will last until Cyber Monday December 2nd. There is free shipping on all orders from Shop@Home and if you spend $149 or more, you will get a $10 LEGO gift card. For orders of $99 or more, you will get the Limited Edition Seasonal Creator Holiday Set #2 (40083).

Like with the early VIP Black Friday shopping event last week, people shopping at the LEGO brand stores on November 29th, you will have a chance to win exciting gifts including a $1,000 shopping spree.
