The LEGO Batman Movie AMC Theatres Opening Weekend Promotion

It looks like if you’re going to see The LEGO Batman Movie opening weekend (February 9-12), AMC Theatres may be the way to go. According to The LEGO Batman Movie page, it states AMC Stubs members who watch The LEGO Batman Movie in RealD 3D will be an AMC exclusive Batman minifigure with your ticket purchase. However, over on the promotions page, it shows that they’ll be giving away the Batman in the Phantom Zone (30522) polybag which is currently available at Target stores.

At first glance, one link says an exclusive minifigure while another says something that’s not exclusive. If you’re going to see the movie opening weekend anyways, it doesn’t hurt to check out AMC Theatres to see what they have available. If it’s an actual exclusive minifigure then great but if not, you still get a cool polybag out of it. There’s no word if Regal Cinemas will have any promotions for the movie.

The LEGO Batman Movie Summer 2017 Sets Revealed

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed four of the summer 2017 The LEGO Batman Movie sets which were already teased in The Essential Guide. These sets will be available in June.

The Scarecrow Fearful Face-off is the smallest of the summer sets and includes Batman and the Scarecrow. There’s also another part of the Gotham Energy Facility to add on to the existing ones. The set will retail for $14.99.

Team up with Batman™ to stop Scarecrow spreading fear in this action-packed THE LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE: Scarecrow™ Fearful Face-off set. The Gyro-Copter features two spinning rotors, an adjustable rudder and two bomb-drop functions to drop the included fear gas bomb elements. Attach Batman’s jetpack with Batwings and adjustable boosters, and arm him with the grappling gun to role-play an aerial battle. The LEGO Batman Movie Toys R Us Building Event on February 11

The LEGO Batman Movie Toys R Us Minibuild

Toys R Us has updated their in-store event page and we can finally confirm that we will be having The LEGO Batman Movie Building Event. It will be held on Saturday, February 11 from 1pm-3pm at all Toys R Us stores. The build is what they call Emmet’s Bat-Car which is essentially almost a copy of Emmet’s Flying Car from The LEGO Movie except for the wings below the doors. The event is intended for ages 6+. If you can’t make it to the event, there are already building instructions for it online.

The LEGO Batman Movie Predicted to Win Opening Weekend

The LEGO Batman Movie will be premiering in theaters in two weeks and going up against it are some other high profile movies including Fifty Shades Darker and John Wick: Chapter 2. It is predicted that The LEGO Batman Movie will take in more than $50 million in box office sales that weekend while Fifty Shades Darker will get $30mil-$42mil and John Wick rounding it out with about $20mil. Keep in mind that these are just US box office predictions.

One other interesting stat is that The LEGO Batman Movie has a 83% total awareness among moms which are categorized as women over 25 with a 9% unaided awareness and definite interest of 49% among men under 25.

Who is going to see The LEGO Batman Movie on opening weekend? I have a feeling that it’ll be pretty packed similar to what happened for The LEGO Movie so it’s highly suggested that you reserve your tickets early to guarantee your seat.

There is a new press release from WaterTower Music announcing the release date of The LEGO Batman Movie Soundtrack. The CD and digital release will be on February 3 while the Vinyl copy will be out on May 19. You can also pre-order The LEGO Batman Movie Soundtrack on iTunes and the vinyl on Amazon. The LEGO Batman Movie McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys Coming February 7

Last week, I reported on the upcoming McDonald’s Happy Meal toys for The LEGO Batman Movie. We now know the dates of when they will be coming out which will be from February 7 to March 6. There’s no word on whether all of the items will be released at the same time or if they will be come out in waves spread out through the month but I have a feeling it’s the latter. If you didn’t see it yet, The LEGO Batman Movie McDonald’s Happy Meal toys will be:
