LEGO 30499

There are now official images of some of the LEGO polybags that will be coming in 2018. This is not an exhaustive list of what we can expect next year but it is some of the ones that we can already look forward to seeing on store shelves and as promotions.

So the dragster is out in two days in the US, I believe. Brickset already has the hot dog cart out in Europe as a [email protected] promo like the dragster. I’ve seen an image of the dog, but can’t remember what it said. The road worker looks amusing (and I may buy a few for parts), but I prefer the towable solar powered trailer with left or right direction arrows that I built a while back. The seaplane looks like yet another instance where they made a set that was a scaled version of another set. Red katanas look interesting, for sure. And the one really big question I have is…where’s the Ultimate Batmobile polybag that I just saw on Brickset but have absolutely no idea where to buy them? I was really hoping to see something here saying who will be carrying that set, and when it’ll be out.

I’ve seen both the Cute Pug and Kylo Ren’s Shuttle at Target.

P.S. Just checked my receipt and Target appears to be using a generic DPCI for Kylo’s Shuttle. It is 204-00-0291, but YMMV on Brickseek, etc. as it may be showing inventory of a different polybag.

      • Purple Dave

That’s actually standard for Target when it comes to the checkout lane polybags. They don’t treat them as different sets, though the seasonal holiday sets appear to all be handled as unique items.

Oh my, that dog…is this Lego’s first official recognition of urination in a set?

All I see is a dog kicking a hydrant, and maybe drooling a little. They did make a Creator parrot that poops, which at the time was the only source for caramel-colored 1×1 round tiles. They’ve also released a few construction sets that included port-a-potties. They’ve released toilet elements for both Scala and Duplo. They’ve release one set each that featured a sticker depicting toilet paper rolls for Belville, Homemaker, and Friends, and two more sets for Duplo that had a brick with printed toilet paper rolls.

      My question as well!

Also notice that Kylo’s Shuttle is actually BLACK this time. 😛

      Still looks stupid this time.

  • ZeeBricks

The Ninjago cycle set is listed as Kylo Ren’s shuttle.
