There’s new information of the minifigures that are included in the Series 12 LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71007) coming from KockaMánia.hu. As we reported before, this series won’t be available until October because of the wave of minifigures that will be released for LEGO Minifigures Online. The pricing for the minifigures, as we now know, have been raised to $3.99 each. The characters listed are translated from Hungarian so they may be worded differently when they are available in a few months.

I want all of these same as previous series but the new pricing really kills it. Jeeze, a whole set of sixteen will now cost just as much as a large $60 set like Turtle Sub Undersea Chase or Emmet’s Contruct-O-Mech. To think these originally were priced for kids as impulse buys, now they have just turned into another pricy collectable.
Yea I agree that the pricing for the minifigures may turn some people off because we’re so used to the old price point. I guess it was inevitable with new molds and higher prices for everything, not just LEGO, but hardcore collectors will still purchase them.
Can you provide more details about the LEGO Minifigures Online minifig wave? I can’t seem to find any information about them.
I wish I can but there’s been absolutely no details of those minifigures at this time. I’ll definitely report on them once there’s some info.
Rumor was this series is or was supposed to originally be based around the Minifigures Online game as I heard. That could still end up holding true somewhat although considering the characters in the game are taken from the official line, there wouldn’t really need to be a side series for the game.
That would be a weird one now wouldn’t it? The Minifigures Online Minifigures series. Wow, sounds like a palindrome. Haha.
I had no interest in the Simpsons collectible minifigure series, but this looks like the perfect thing to get me back into the line! Sounds very promising.
Si upsetting to see that they are note $3.99 instead of the $2.99. I came to terms withe the 3.99 price for the simpsons series because of the new molds for ALL the heads. But to see that they are continuing the 3.99 for the mini figure line is just disappointing. Like around 65 dollars for the whole 16 set is too much. For that price i expect to see printing on all the legs, backs, fronts, arms & double sided face printing & they should at least have 1 accessory each. And i hope they stop using that cheap plastic from china now that they raised it to 3.99 !!!!!
