The next LEGO gift with purchase set that will be releasing is the LEGO Creator Mystic Witch (40562). It has 257 pieces and it is a LEGO Creator 3-in-1 set which is very unusual for a GWP. It should be available from October 14-31 with purchases of $100.
The main build is the witch who has a mostly purple and green color scheme. She does have some poseability with joints at the neck and the arms. The waist has a turntable to give her some swivel as well. The hands are weird looking and do have spots to hold the wand and broom.
The back of the witch has no details and is pretty ugly. I would’ve preferred something back there as the back of the head and back have absolutely nothing on it.
The witch hat is the same build for all three models so you don’t have to take that apart when you build the other ones.
The cat is a pretty plain purple cat that wears the witch hat. There’s nothing too interesting with it but the legs are on ball joints and the feet are on hinges.
Lastly we have the dragon that reminds me of Disney’s purple dragon, Figment. It stands very sturdy on its hind legs and the arms seem pretty short. The wings uses ball joints so there’s some poseability there.
Overall, the LEGO Creator Mystic Witch (40562) is an interesting set just in time for Halloween. The price requirement isn’t too bad to get it since it will overlap with Double VIP Points for a few days (Oct. 14-16). The three models aren’t too spectacular and the set itself could’ve been a standalone set that people could buy.
Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
