During LEGO’s tour of the New York Comic Con 2016 booth, the host showed off the exclusive that will be given away at the convention this week which will be the Batgirl minidoll. If you didn’t see the press release from this morning, LEGO will be doing daily drawings to give away Batgirl. There’s no word on how the drawing will work but I have a feeling that it’ll be similar to SDCC where you tap the iPad to see if you’re a winner or not. If you can’t make it to NYCC, LEGO is also doing a giveaway on Twitter where you just retweet their giveaway tweet and they’ll randomly choose a winner.
As for the exclusive Batgirl minidoll itself, it looks to be similar to the one in the Batgirl Batjet (41230) but you also get the clamshell with the New York Comic Con cardboard. The images I used are clipped from the video so the resolution isn’t that good but check out the tour of the LEGO NYCC 2016 booth below to see a clearer image of it.

Better than my clear Bionicle mask I have, but free is free and last year they gave out nothing.
Is it really exclusive? It looks the same as the one in the regular sets, and none of the stuff I’ve seen or heard about it has described it as exclusive. I think it may just be a “preview” fig. Even though a Comic Con exclusive mini-doll would be really cool, it seems like that day is not yet here.
The figure itself might not be but it kinda is with the packaging so you can go either way with it.
Is will b amazing the lego DC super hero girl set are live in comic con In New York City.
I got one today, no drawing, just stand in line and they handed them out. I got there around noon, the line wasn’t too bad. By 12:30 it was pretty long, so I don’t know if they had enough or ran out or ended up doing a drawing later on, but they weren’t scanning anything for anybody in front of me.
LEGO really needs to do the east coast better, and offer up some more prominent/relevant exclusives at NYCC. Let’s be honest — Batgirl and Bionicle masks are a complete afterthought. And this is coming from a San Diegan…I just feel bad for the folks over there!
