Over on Minifigs.net forums, a user by the handle kikiwihk has revealed the first image of the box art for the LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes The Penguin Face-off (76010). Although it is pretty small, you can clearly see Batman and his Batboat as well as the Penguin in his Duck flotation vehicle. There are also two brick built penguin minions as well. Like I mentioned before, this set looks very similar to the ending of Batman Returns. It looks pretty good so far for a $13 set.

Feels as though Lego is taking some inspiration from the original Batman trilogy as this reminds me of Batman Returns except Batman didn’t have a mini-sub. (At least I don’t think he did. It’s been a while.) Cool to get The Penguin in a small set.

Thanks for reminding me with the clip! I wonder if Lego went with the sea scooter idea instead of another Bat Ski Boat thingy since they already did that with this year’s Arctic Batman vs Mr Freeze set. Otherwise it may have been like repeating themselves here. Still looks good all around for one of those impulse buys.
Any idea when it will be released in the US?
