There’s now an official image of the new LEGO Dimensions E.T. Fun Pack (71258). It contains 42 pieces and includes the E.T. minifigure with a potted plant accessory and Phone Home for the build which is a red telephone. It’s interesting that they chose to use a telephone but it’s close enough to the classic red Speak & Spell that was used in the movie.
The E.T. Fun Pack (71258) will most likely retail for $11.99 like the other Fun Packs. There’s no word on the release date.

Are we sure it does not turn into the speak and spell? I bet it turns into something similar to one.
Aw I was hoping it was going to be level pack :/ Still cool to see E.T as a minfigure.
i just want the minfig tbh… along with the mr t one,
Same. If anything, someone my age is in that R&D dept. and are forcing me to buy things for a game I do not play.
It’s funny, it wasn’t that long ago that you’d see threads
where AFOLs would wish for 80’s licenses and other AFOLs would argue that these weren’t viable products, and would never ever happen. (And to be fair, I’m sure those that argued against it wanted them too). These are going to be
really interesting products to watch.
You’d think Texas Instruments would have been OK with using the speak and spell likeness. It would have been a nice branding reminder for them.
