It looks like there are already images of the exclusive Green Arrow (71342) promotional polybag of some of the LEGO Dimensions characters that will be given out at E3 next month. As you can see, it has the golden RFID bases for the Green Arrow. There’s also another polybag that is reported to be given out with Supergirl (71340).

I wonder how much it’ll go for on ebay
6 kabillion dollars($240 USD)
about $45 right now
All Lego should be available to everyone at retail prices for a limited time. Any other limits are really crappy and a slap in the face to collectors.
My bet is these will be released to us regular folks at some point. The only difference will be the gold vs clear bases and probably some abilities.
The bases on Supergirl and Green Arrow are trans-orange (the non-fluorescent color), not gold. And given the lack of any accompanying vehicles or gadgets, it’s possible that the new color is to differentiate them from a standard release version that offers access to the build menu that you’d need for any character that comes in a Fun/Team/Level pack. On that note, I’m hopeful that they will make both of these characters available in standard retail packs, so that the only exclusive aspect of these will be early access to the characters, the trans-orange restricted base, and the packaging (all of which I’m fine with). If the characters end up being exclusive as well, I’ll be pissed after finally caving in and going 100% on Series 1.
