It looks like Toys R Us Canada has starting listing more information about 2016 LEGO Sets as they have posted the set description for the LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (75827). This pretty much confirms the rumor of this particular set. Important things to note is that it will retail for $399.99 CAD and contains a whopping 9 minifigures including Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore, Janine Melnitz, Dana Barrett, Louis Tully, Library Ghost and Zombie Driver.
Also note that the image above is not the official set as it is based on Brent Waller’s LEGO CUUSOO project.

Uh oh, TRU is in trouble!
It’s a real shame it has to be that expensive. I’m not sure why it has to be that much. Put those figures in smaller sets and they sell, sell sell. Stick them in a four hundred dollar set and you are just setting up a world of Chinese knock-offs, counterfeits and disillusioned fans.
Given the amount of pieces + the official names of each Minifigure character + using Ghostbusters’ names & logos; is the reason why it is so expensive
I have to say, while I would very much like to own this, it sounds like it is going to be way too expensive. But, we will see when the time draws closer.
Just need a release date so I know how long i have to save up for it
I’ve heard rumors that it’s a January 1 release.
With that and the Brick Bank I am going to need a bigger table for my city, and a bigger wallet.
Personally, I can’t wait for this. From the description it sounds like it is just like the old playset from the early nineties, which was a great playset.
Will this work with modular sets?
Also price is probably $299 American.
The biggest question of all – will the Ecto-1 be able to fit through the door and sit inside??
hey and with the lego dimensions stay puff marshmallow man and terror dog fun pack coming next year they will go nicely with the set , now all we need is a walter peck minifigure
Don’t forget to thanks SwissGB for this set.
I think he help Lego a lot even they don’t reconize it.
Read the following:
http://www.swissgb.ch/my-statement-on-the-release-of-the-lego-ghostbusters-firehouse-headquarters/
Read that when it was first posted. I get where Sergio is coming from but Brent Waller’s Ecto-1 and Firehouse project was the first to get 10k so I think that LEGO already started working on the Firehouse alongside the Ecto-1 before Sergio’s even hit 10k.
Harold Ramis would be so proud of this.
