I hope we will get big discounts on those Batman movie and GOTG sets

Not surprised about them pressing hard to move Palace Cinemas, my guess is they do not want a repeat of the Pet shop last year when they had to move them for 120 USD around Christmas. Same with the Assault on common sense, err Hoth with its enormous price tag. I have been on the fence with the Ferrari F40 creator set.. Maybe Ill get one just in case I decide to collect these types of sets later.

Do you think that the Palace Cinema will be on sale for Black Friday? Wondering if I should hold out for a sale or just go with double VIP points. First modular so wondering if the Lego website ever discounts them.

    • I don’t think there will be a sale for the Palace Cinema. I hope to have a list of sale items for Black Friday a few days before.

        Thanks Allen! Love the site.

Didn’t the two Face set just come out in July? I haven’t even seen it in stores!
(Actually that might be why it’s getting discontinued)

June 1, but yeah, that’s pretty quick. It’s normally $60, but both [email protected] and TRU have it marked down below $50. For the week, that and a CMF is enough to qualify for a Bricktober Batmen set.

On a related note, I’ve been trying to keep an eye on TRU prices, and it seems like they’ve rolled back the TRU “discount” pretty much across the board on LEGO sets. Or at least I haven’t been able to spot any that seem overpriced.

They need to retire the Disney castle so I can sell mine!
