The release date of the LEGO Houses of the World 3 (40594) is still a mystery but we have an early copy of the set to check out. The set looks to be at a European location this time.
The build is split into two bags and also has a small sticker sheet for the wooden panels.
The house has a 12×10 footprint and sits on two stories. On the lower level, your eyes goes straight to the logs that are stacked up on the right side. The log tiles are actually printed pieces which is nice since you don’t want to put on stickers for all of them. The adjacent wall has a stack of logs along with an ax.
Next to the door is a barrel filled with tools as well as a bench. The wall next to that has a pillar along with some shutters next to the window.
Going up, the balcony has some flowers to give it some color contrast.
The upper floor doesn’t have that much besides more windows and shutters.
The inside of the house has a lot more going on. The living room has a sectional sofa with a log table in the middle of the room. There’s also a fireplace, a record player, and a painting in the area. On the opposite end, there’s a table with some cheese and chocolate which may suggest that the house is located in Switzerland.
The upper floor has a large bedroom that is able to fit a bed along with a bennch press.
Overall, the LEGO Houses of the World 3 (40594) won’t appeal to everybody but there is a demographic for them as they have been selling well. Even though it’s a small set, there’s actually a lot of details throughout the house. We don’t have the official price requirement yet, we can assume that it’ll be a $250 purchase like with the first two. It is a pretty high threshold for what you get and I don’t think it’s worth that much. August is coming up with all the new releases so maybe LEGO will decide to drop it then. The building instructions for the set are already online so you can kind of build your own if you like.
Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
