Addams Family house!
Of these, the Addams Family mansion is my favorite, with the Eagle 5 from Spaceballs a close second. The one I’m REALLY hoping will get enough support & be reviewed/approved soon is the Mystery Science Theater 3000 set, though! 🙂
Please be Voltron!
Yes!!!!
Let’s go Voltron Force!
I strongly suspect it’ll be none of them
I really liked the working Particle Accelerator from a previous review, I hope the LHC is successful!
I think it is safe to assume Voltron will pass due to its overwhelming fan support.
I only hope that they pick a second set this time. If they do, I hope it is Eagle 5! The only issue I see with the project is that George Lucas said “no merchandising” when the movie came out. What if he still cares 30 years later?
I really like the Landspeeder too, but I’m guessing we’ll see that as an official Lego set that was made by “Lego designers for Lego fans” in the years to come.
Fingers crossed for Voltron!!
Who the hell is Voltron? Does not ring any bell for me.
Voltron is a 1980’s giant robot cartoon hero, recently rebooted and licensed by netflix. Voltron is fairly popular among gen-xers. There are two versions… Vehicle voltron and lion voltron, the latter being far more well known and popular.
Although Valtron and the Roadster look like good sets, it’s safe to say NOT ONE of these sets are going to be chosen. Wish people would come up with original ideas, stop thinking we are ever going to get a Star Wars set out of the Ideas line…. I do like the Voltron one the best, but I have “normal” system lines I like better then what’s coming out of the Ideas line.
I am fond of a number of these, and while I really would love Voltron or Addam’s Family Mansion, I really think licencing will be an issue. Similarly I do not see any Star Wars or Spaceballs items surviving due to the similarity to existing sets. That all said I would be very happy with the observatory.
As one of the other posters alluded to, I do think we need some realistic expectarions with regards to what sets are likely to come out of this project. To date the best set for my money is the birds. I would love to see more like that.
