LEGO Ideas The Ship in a Bottle, The Flagship Leviathan Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Ship in a Bottle, The Flagship Leviathan by JakeSadovich77 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. Inspired by the impossible bottle mechanical puzzle, the project features a very nicely detailed micro-scale ship inside a brick-built bottle. It also comes with a stand to hold the bottle as well.

The Ship in a Bottle, The Flagship Leviathan now joins Boat Repair Shop, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. “The Bus” Hulkbuster UCS, LEGO Store Modular Version, Red Dwarf, Landrover 4×4, Vintage Tram, and 1950’s Diner as the projects that qualify the Third 2016 Review Stage.

The build is awesome and wonderfully original. And it looks like it passed 10K in record time.

I hope Lego does it and I hope if they do they come up with something better for the bottom of the bottle. I understand that the designer only had as his or her disposal what was available but all the sockets spoil the effect from that view. Lego, on the other hand, could come up with a part that’s smooth.

I like it too, but it also plenty of good competition this round.
