It doesn’t look like the UK and parts of Europe will be the only country having the LEGO Minifigure Iconic Easter (5004468) set available. It was reported that the set will be available across the pond with purchases of £15 or more in March.
It looks like Toys R Us will also have the set available some time in the future. The set will retail for $5.99 and will include the Chicken Suit Guy minifigure from Series 9 (71000) along with a cardboard henhouse box as well.
This little Iconic Easter (5004468) set will be a good time to pick up the Chicken Suit Guy at a reasonable price for people who missed out on it the first around because that particular minifigure isn’t going for cheap on the secondary market. However, there’s no word yet on when it will be available. The item number is #648866 if you want to check in stores.

So, the Chicken Suit Guy and a cardboard house for $5.99? This can’t make anyone happy who invested in Chicken Suit Guys.
Let’s be fair though, banking on Lego Chicken Suit Guys is kinda like putting all your eggs in one basket.
CMF parts and figures pop up in the build a minifigure bins at LEGO stores and LEGO discovery centers, no one should be surprised that LEGO is putting one out there again. But lets face facts, the Chicken suit guy is insanely popular and there will only be so many of these promos out there, so eventually he will likely rise again.
I’m guessing folks like the lizard, shark, chicken, hot dog etc. won’t show up in the Build-A-Minifig bin though. Also, yes it’s frustrating for collectors when this happens, but that’s the risk you take as a collector. Can’t blame LEGO for that.
Why would it be frustrating to collectors? They begrudge other people getting what they also have?
Or, do you mean speculators?
Good point! I really mean speculators. I’m a collector myself, but not in the sense that I keep everything boxed. I actually build with my Lego!
Good to hear. I buy to build or as parts supply almost always. Although sometimes I’ll buy something on sale as parts supply or to perhaps sell later on. If nothing else, the market value reduces the risk if I decide I don’t want to use/keep something.
Oh good. Maybe next yeah they will have bunny suit guy. I thought I had a second and I don’t but the secondary market is three the roof!
And THIS is why I love it when Lego re-releases stuff.
Can’t wait ! So glad they’re doing this. 😀
