Earlier today, LEGO posted the above image on their social media networks of what appears to be a new storyline for LEGO Ninjago which includes the caption “Time to Close the Circle.” The image shows Cole holding a lantern with Ninjago City in the background. Does this mean the end for LEGO Ninjago animated TV series as they wrap up the show with the “Rise of the Villains” subtheme just in time for the LEGO Ninjago Movie or is it just the beginning? What are your thoughts on this mysterious image?

the plot of the film looks awful, I really hope they just do a film version of the show like how penguins of Madagascar did.
my worst fear is they style it like lego dimensions where the ninjas were not quite right and the voices were wrong.
The plot of the film is supposed to diverge from the TV series and be a new take on the franchise. And from the sound of the plot it sounds pretty unique and could lead to many creative possibilities from a visual standpoint and a comedic standpoint. Heck, some of the footage, which was screened at Cinemacon, was called a “LEGO version of Pacific Rim meets Ninjas” which sounds pretty awesome really. Also, the Penguins of Madagascar Movie was a completely new take that was different from the tv show. It was it’s own thing, which this movie is making it pretty clear it’s going to be.
I think the caption on the photo is fake. You can see the thin outline of a box around the words.
The Lead designer for ninjago as well as the creators of the show have confirmed on Twitter that this isn’t the end of the series, neither show nor sets
Amen Mind.
I Think that Cole Johnson wants to close the circle because he can’t stand being a ghost anymore Allen.
They have a the Lego Ninjago time to Close the ciucle
