The next LEGO One Piece set we’re checking out for season 2 of the Netflix show is Dorry vs. Brogy – Giants of Little Garden (75644). The set has 733 pieces and retails for $79.99.

Minifigures
The set has four minifigures including Zoro, Usopp, Mr. 3, and Miss Goldenweek. Zoro is in the blue shirt and pink pants that was seen in the episode. His double-sided head shows him with a smirk on one side and an angry expression on the other. His accessories include two swords Sandai Kitetsu (red) and Yubashiri (black). I don’t know why LEGO didn’t give him a third sword.

Usopp wears the brown tanktop with purple armor over part of the torso. He legs show his green camoflauge pants. His double-sided head shows a confident smile on one side and scared on the other. His accessory is his slingshot Ginga Pachinko. He also has a yellow satchel that goes around the torso.

Mr. 3 has on a striped blue and white vest with a frill in the front. His double-sided head shows him with an evil smirk on one side and a scared look on the other. His hairpiece is made of a soft rubber and has the number 3 on it. His accessories include a wax spear and a plant piece showing him spraying out wax.

Lastly we have Goldenweek who wears a blue shirt with clouds over a darker blue shirt. Her double-sided head shows her with a smile on one side and an evil scowl on the other. Her orange hat is molded on to her pigtails. Her accessories include her paint brush and the palette.

Although not really a minifigure, there is a baby figure of Mr. 13. It wears a white jumpsuit with purple dots on the body and helmet. It does have a double-sided head with its tongue sticking out on one side.

Build
In addition to Dorry and Brogy, there are some other smaller builds that go with the set. First is the candle service set that is used to trap Zoro. It can break down by pressing on the lever on the back.

Attached on the side is a clear bar to hold Miss Friday. She’s a brick-built vulture that’s in a flying pose and has a spot for Mr. 13 to sit on.

Dorry is one of the Elbaph giants on Little Garden. Even though he’s based on the live action series, he looks to have a combination of both the show and the anime. He has a bare chest with some armor around the stomach area and some leather around the waist.

The arms are on ball joints and that’s the extend of his articulation there besides the fingers. One hand can hold his longsword while the other has a round shield attached to the outer wrist.

The legs are also on ball joints and the movement is decent when you move the leather pieces in the front. The ankles are on ball joints as well.

Lastly the head had his long beard attached. He has a gold helmet with some eye protectors that are printed on his face. A purple cape completes his look.

For Brogy, he is built pretty close to the same as Dorry. He has a wider body type than Dorry but is also the same height. For his weapons, he has a battle axe and shield. He has a larger waist leather that has more detailing with stickers. His face is also printed and his beard is on hinges.

For my set, the Baroque Works tiles I got were Mr. 5 and two Mr. 8’s. That was pretty unlucky on getting a double in one set. You would think that LEGO wouldn’t allow doubles but quality control wasn’t up to standards here.

Overall
The LEGO One Piece Dorry vs. Brogy – Giants of Little Garden (75644) is just an okay set that could’ve been better. The giant builds are too similar and didn’t really give a satisfying experience. The candle cake was an additional play feature but it’s way too small. To be honest, my favorite things from the set are the minifigures including Mr. 13 and Miss Friday. I’m also disappointed that I got duplicates of the Baroque Works tiles. I know they’re randomly inserted but at least don’t give two of the same ones in one set.

Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
